Well,

Will you stay in to watch Ryan Tubridys final Late Late show this Friday ......

Personally I'd rather avoid it, and would definitely prefer a meet.... maybe we could organise one... Cork city?

Lucan

Well if I watch it, it will be the first time in about 35 years, apart from having to watch it in other people's houses on occasions, so no, I won't be watching it.

I'm now 56 so I have a limited amount of time left. Christ on a bicycle, I'm not wasting it on that shite.

South Side.

No, a waste of precious time. I dont watch TV anymore, much prefer chat, interesting conversations, and glass of wine with friends.

If I had to choose, I'd nearly prefer to drive to cork to meet you OP instead of watching that shite

Late late is so far beyond its best before date, haven’t bothered watching in years and tubridy is a master of banality

I too will not be watching the Friday night cringefest. Wild horses couldn't drag me the telly no matter who he's got in

Newry Down

A lot of elderly folk have a nostalgic fondness for TLLS, and Friday's final outing for Tubridy will be self-congratulatory but I won't be watching.

Truthfully, the last time I watched TLLS was over sixty years ago, in my grandmother's home, out in South Armagh, when RTE could not be received in Newry.

Gaybo was astonishing and commanded the audience and wooed his guests with his erudite confidence.

Personally, I find Ryan T to be banal, superficial and phony.

RTE has to keep TLLS going, because, what would the planners replace it with, in this multichannel era of other distractions.
