Just treated a lady to a lovely meal and drinks and overnite in hotel to find her gone early today with everything in my wallet. Any suggestion what I should do as she forgot her tablet . |

Every hotel has CCTV...get gardai to check that camera/ keep her tablet.
if you met from here the gaurds will pass no remarks to it. |

Go to guards. Give them her profile details and her tablet . They will be able to obtain her account details etc from fab and will be able to examine her tablet and get her details from that with IP addresses used etc |

There are a few ways to look at this.
Report to hotel.
Report to guards.
Report to fab.
Or, how much was in your wallet?
A smallish amount, lesson learned, no further hassle.
Or, a lot of money, too much to write off, worth the hassle of follow up.
It has happened to me a few times(not on this site) where women tried to get more out of me, so it's common, happens a lot, it feels stupid to have been duped, but one of life's lessons.

If a woman woke up to say her handbag was emptied by a bloke off fab I wonder would she be treated differently

You really should report it to the police OP, regardless of the amount of money involved. It might just help prevent the same thing happening to someone else.
Also report to Fab and screenshot all the relevant info. As a community we should try to look out for each other
Not sure people would be so flippant if it happened to a woman but hey ho

I think the thread is a pisstake, you obviously call the guards or DM yer wan and barter the return of your wallet for the tablet

So she takes his wallet and leaves her name and ip address (Tablet) and the op is asking what to do with it
These people don’t make mistakes like that just saying
Also if anyone is ro**ed you don’t go on a site asking people what to do you call the law unless you yourself have something to hide |

Maybe Its the sun but I just think it could be someone that genuinely didnt know what to do about the situation
I once had to go to the Gardai about someone on here threatening me and they were useless....wanted to keep my phone for up to 4 years as evidence
It was a horrible time and I just wanted to help the op out.

Absolutely I would , if the story seemed as iffy as did her verifications !!!
I would go so far as to say my gut is telling me this is more of a personal disgruntled situation that anything !

What i will say is its Interesting how you chose to come on here in order to make everyone aware of this person's profile, Granted like bug says it could just be a case of you genuinely didn't really know what to do.
Also interesting is she has no hidden .
Worth pointing out 2 if this is true remove her name from your status update before she has you banned from fab. |

Her profile doesn't say she likes nice hotels it says one of her dislikes is cheap hotels and she is happy to meet at your place or a hotel so long as it's in the South side.

Hard to understand why he’d put a thread up and then name her on his status update. The woman has the presumption of innocence until all the facts are known. There’s three side to every story, yours, mine and somewhere in the middle is the truth. |

If that happened me I'd be happy enough. A tablet in exchange for a wallet with a couple of credit cards, a tenner, some coins for the toll bridge and an emergency johnny.
Cancel the cards straight away, write off the tenner and coins, and the Johnny was probably out of date anyway. Use my new tablet to order a new wallet on Amazon. And if I'm lucky she's signed in already and I can charge it on her account  happy out |

However ,they won't charge her
She will deny it
Unless she is caught in procession of your cards or the wallet, Garda can do nothing . She can accuse you of stealing her tablet !, The cops will give it back to her if she can prove ownership

If a crime has occurred then you need to report this to the police, you can also report the profile to Admin.
