Guys ruin it for themselves. If you go into a pub with your face covered and whip your lad out at every lady you meet telling them you are horny you would piss a lot of people off. Why would you think it's any different here.

There was a thread advertising a social for newbies, great idea. Fair play to the OP of that thread for organising that. However there didn't seem to be a lot of interest, at least on the thread, from single guys. Just lads moaning about how far away it was.

What I'm noticing, with being on Fab. It's more to do with luck, than anything else. I'm not saying that what other men, has done or doesn't do, have an effect on other men, on here. It's up to everybody to make an effort men, Women & Couples.

I see this sentiment in threads and posts pretty often, I hadn’t really had to deal with it as we normally have filters on but while Paul’s been away for an extended time with work I’ve had my filters off and I’ve honestly been pleasantly surprised.
Although I’ve stated in my posts that I’m not looking for a guy to play with, A lot still came through. (which I’m sure would annoy some people) but 99% of those that have responded to my posts have been nothing but polite and respectful. I was apprehensive about replying and saying that I’m not interested but when I did, I got like 2 shit posts back and the rest were grand.
Have I just been very lucky here or have things calmed down on this front on fab? |

Nope, you're not the only one  . I've rarely gotten rudeness/abuse when I was on my single's profile (Mrs here). I can't really speak for the couple's profile as we have single men filtered so they can't contact us but in times gone by, when the filters were open, we've never gotten rudeness or abuse from anyone .
