We met 3 different couples on 2 different days there last year. And one we met had met others jn the night we weren't there. People always meet up there.

We're away for it this year. It's the 1st one ever that we'll miss.
Always a lot of UK fabbers over for it too and some of them will check in here before the weekend |

I've met a few fabbers there for socials. And some fun. But as a single lady travelling with non fabbers it's hard enough to meet up.
Hopefully I'll get to head down for a night of it this year. Have a lot on that weekend. |

Yeah, easily the best weekend of the year in Killarney. Still amazes me its all free. They'd make a fortune if they charged so long may it last. |

If you go, there's no need to leave the venue. Outdoor stages from midday to 8pm, indoor arena from 8pm to 2am.
Full bars and food outlets outside too.
Can't help on places to stay, I'm heading home this weekend and have just decided to stay with parents due to hotel rates being a nightmare but if you could find anywhere on the Muckross Road, you'd be a few minutes walk from the INEC |

"Accomm is impossible to get anywhere in Killarney that weekend. We might have to bring the tent and hope weather is fine. "
Hotel 67 which is the new hotel at the venue is available through the official Bikefest site. Downside is it approx €245 per night which although steep looks like a bargain compared to what the few remaining hotels in Killarney are charging for that weekend.  |

...all that leather, beer and Harleys make people horny
Used to go there years ago, just finding it the same every year - apart from Kerry pricing, which is increasing annually, so stopped going.
Used to have room for myself there every year too, back then when I was innocent  |

Old friends and meet so great new people, craic and banter is great, camping on the verge, so cost hasn't changed since I started going except pints have increased. |
