Seen that last year...so that doesn't count.
As for this year...not sure, if I have seen any film worth mentioning, to be honest.
The 'Victory Parade' on Red Square was quite a good comedy this year though |

Wargames (1983) is a film I have on DVD, and only watch every few years in order to see it afresh; 40 years old and still superb
Wargaming, that featured in the film has entered the lexicon of computing, hackers and nerds.
There are a few cinematic goofs and errors, but it is still entertaining.
Matthew Broderick is the computer nerd, isolated from his parents, bored at school, an under-achiever whose life revolves around computers, hacking and gathering information about systems, businesses and computers!
Avant-garde cinematography |

Just remembered...not a new films and not for the 1st time I've seen those, but I did watch it again this year:
1917 - brilliant
Dunkirk - same as
Downton Abbey - always pleasure
...and grossly disappointing 'All Quiet on the Western Front' Not sure why or how it managed to gather so many Oscars, to me, it was pure exploitation of the title and it's got nothing to do with the book story line nor anti-war-ethos of Remarque masterpiece. Tragedy to put it mildly |
