Na, it's a dirty grubby place.

Not been in there in ages, but was last week and thought to myself why it is filthy

Just general grime. Not alot of heavy rubbish. But more like the whole place could do with a power washing

That’s bollocks can’t knock the people that clean up after the people that visit the city and think they can do what they want

Put your rubbish in the bin please it’s easier

Who is knocking anyone? The place is not heavily littered. It just gruby. Just picking up rubbish or people not dropping it in the 1st place is not good enough.

The place needs to be power washed to take away the gunk that accumulates over time from traffic and other general life. This is the norm that happens in other European city's.

Cork is cleaner than the people that come in to mistreat it

Cork City center is walking with the dirt. Not a reflection on the business or the people that visit the place. But if you can't see that I'd hate to see the dirt of your house

I don't leave rubbish around my house, but that doesn't mean I don't still have to brush the paths, power wash them now and again, or even hoover my carpets and wash the windows.

Shit gets dirty from everyday life and needs to be cleaned. That's nit a reflection on people mistreating the place. It's a reflection of the city council not investing in the simple maintenance of the city and just doing the bare minimum

The next meeting of the tidy towns committee could be fun anyway.

Ah now we love Cork! Such an easy and walkable city.. not pristine but not horrible at all. Certainly not the worst place we've ever been to

East Cork

I've see council workers power washing the city centre streets early in the mornings, and the street sweeper in action cleaning the footpaths. At least they are trying!
