Frankly, I really detest going on so-called holiday because it is so stressful

I haven't had a passport for several decades and plan never to get another.

Day trips are a great way to explore the island of Ireland; then get back to work for a few days and then head off for another day trip or two.

Years ago I ended up in hospital, in London, after a foreign holiday in an exotic location.

The whole experience there turned me off foreign holidays for life.
