I stupidly cry a lot watching movies
E.T dead in the fridge with Elliott talking to him
Molly seeing Sam as he goes to heaven in Ghost
However I've only ever watched Edward Scissorhand once because I just couldn't stop at the ending of that when he made it snow...afraid to watch it again |

Again not a movie but the final scene of Blackadder Goes Forth. For a comedy show that had no issue making fun of war up to this point this scene was so poignant even the cast could only do the be take of it. Goosebumps every time. |

"The opening D Day scene in Saving Private Ryan. "
It is reputed to be THE most realistic war scene ever filmed, although the village massacre in Come and See is horrifically true to life also! |

"Mine is the tunnel scene in irreversible... Mm"
The Monica Bellucci in the underpass one? Yes, shockingly realistic and gut wrenching sickly! That's one I can still remember myself.
There was another scene with Dennis Hopper and a bottle in Blue Velvet that I seem to have blocked out also and haven't watched it since because of this really vague memory. |

"Logans run......Jenny Agutter getting undressed and Farah Fawcett left a lasting impression on an 11 yr old boy back in the day "
Oh the bit in Logan’s run where he runs in to a sex shop kind of thing.. where all the hands are pulling at him and it’s all very dreamscape and erotic… I think that’s what gave me the desire to go to parties and try reenact that.

There was something about them all for me.
1,Top gun 1,a classic for me. Haven't seen 2,apart from bits on YouTube, it look's just as good as 1.
2, The Field.
"Tigue I'd cut it off with a rusty blade", "Faster Tigue, Faster Tigue,That's my boy Tigue...STOP", "Get up Tigue, Get up, I can't".
3,Snapper.
Ya, true Irish Classic.
"Red alert, Red alert ", "Get out of the way, ya dosy Bollocks", ""7bl 12ozs", is that a Bady or a Turkey?" |

I saw a film called Blame it on Ginger years ago and there was a scene where Ginger got it on with her best friend's father.
Mother of God, I nearly did myself an injury. Me poor lad wasn't better for a week, such was the level and intensity of self abuse I inflicted on it. |

When Wade talks the others through patching him up in Saving Private Ryan, he knew he was a goner and his last words were regret about the time he didn't want to chat with his mum. That was hard to watch
In the same film I felt a serious hatred towards Upham when he froze and let Mellish be killed |

Schindler's List.
The scenes where the young girl manages to save her parents by persuading Oscar Schindler to give them both jobs within his factory, and they then arrive as she watches from across the street. |

To kill a Mockingbird.
"Stand up, Miss Jean Louise, your father's passing
The Ma years ago made me watch the movie. She had a thing for Gregory Peck. She also knew the meaning of the movie. To this day I buy a copy of the book and pass it on. |

Christiane F I think was the name of the movie that saved me from ever taking anything stronger than grass. It put me off needles and hard drugs for life and is one that my kids will be watching when they're around 15yrs old, as I think I was at the time.

In the film Scarface, the torture scene (with the chainsaw in the shower) is truly shocking, but it epitomises the depths that drug dealers will sink to, in order to protect their territory. |

"Not a movie but I binged watched Channel 4’s It’s a Sin.
I wasn’t myself for days thinking about all the lives that had been lost, the pain, the isolation"
The ending is incredibly moving
Still remember my next door neighbour back in the 80's going to live in London at the age of 18
He never came home....died with AIDS....his body never even came back ....no one would take it |
