Look it’s normally a good spot if it’s a big game it’s within walking distance but if you get a cab from pana it wouldn’t be more than €10 enjoy no matter where you go and enjoy your night aswell

Lads let's be realistic here. In terms of football standing Celtic and rangers are league one standard maybe bottom six in the championship at best. The rest of them bottom half of league two top half of the national League.

Aye goodman, a league one team that gets to play in the Champions League

And as much as I hate Rangers but didn't they lose the Europa League final on penalties last season. No English team could even make the semi-finals

"Watching two pub teams, in a pub league. You'll have plenty options down there."

Are you too good to watch anything outside Premier league then?

You're some asset to grass roots sport in your community I imagine.

I'd also guess you're probably very average at any sport you ever tried your hand at with that attitude.

If the world was full of people like you there'd be no football/sport outside elite level. Careful there, you sound like a European super league supporter.

There was football long before sky broadcasting and the Premier league and that's the only reason that the English Premier league sits at the top of the football money pyramid.

What do you prefer to watch teams like Chelsea and spurs with shallow players on mega money contracts who are so loaded and secure on massive contracts that they can't be arsed putting in the effort when the mood takes them, because they don't like the manager, without any fear or danger of being sacked like they would in any other walk of life? Because that's Premier league. What Marcus Rashford is gonna turn up this week? The immature sulky ball less little sulker or the guy who's going to work for his team and put in an effort for the supporters that pay a small fortune to follow their team? The team he gets paid mega money to "play" for but can't always be bothered about.

Or watch a game of football where 2 teams give everything and go at it hammer and tongs for 90 mins in a cauldron of noise and emotion that the Premier league can't ever dream of.

What one sounds like "sport" to you?

If celtic and rangers were accepted into the Premier league as has been talked about historically and had access to the financial riches as a direct consequence of broadcasting revenue in the Premier league (that's all it is, TV money) within 5/6 both would be regular top 4 challengers.

They are still massive despite being stifled by the financial restrictions of playing in Scotland. Can you imagine arsenal or spurs or Chelsea surviving and what sort of fan base they'd have playing in similar circumstances???

The reason it will never happen is because every Premier league club would shit themselves financially because they know in time that they'd lose out to top 4.

"

The main thing there is they wouldn't be accepted in the premier League. They would have to start in league two or possibly lower. Staying up there suits them down to the ground. Absolutely no competition at all. Everything won between the two of them and not a worry about actually being challenged by any other club. A monopoly they have some would say.

Tis pub league stuff.

Why do you think I said within 5/6 years?

You're the guy that wants to eat prawn sandwiches but can't afford them! So sits in his armchair lambasting professional athletes.

Convenient!

You enjoy your "sport" now and don't forget to leave competition, desire, will to win and emotion out of it.

You think Celtic and rangers are small clubs?. Lols

Two of the biggest and best supported clubs in the UK. Between them they have more passion than the majority of premiership teams.
