What’s happened this site?
Is the site just full of a lot of fantasist's? should it be made to be a paid site, at a higher rate than what it currently is?
We’d a party last night and we were speaking to three single fellas about our party. One had the decency to message two days before but the other two were no shows. If they’d have grown the balls to be there they’d have been met with five very horny, experimental funny girls.
We really don’t get it. Should we only have parties with people we’ve met to make sure they’re actually what and who they say they are?
Would love to name and shame them but for some reason won’t.

"So fantasists then? It was so disappointing as the couples and singles ladies were there - just not the extra males to balance out the dynamic "
Think some like the idea and are all talk but when it comes to attending they just bottle it |

It's not just lads that bottle it and are no shows but to answer your original question op it would be better to have met them in person first or if nothing else have them verified by someone you know and can chat to about them.
Ideally it wouldn't be their first party too. But we do all have to start somewhere. |

Maybe social meet or deposits for party , they’ll show then |

No there shouldn't be any changes to membership fees because that's one of the attractions for many people.
There will always be a risk when you invite random people you've never met before but at the same time there are many people on here who have never experienced a no show.

All talk no action , we enjoy cuckolding and when we put on our status that we are looking for young bull we are inundated with texts, as the meet date cums closer they dwindle away and usually no show , so frustrating |

Not sure how raising the price would make a jot of difference bar making sure we are all out of pocket when times are tight enough.
Sorry to hear of the no show but that's Fab life I guess, not just the single men as we have all experience of ladies suddenly "ghosting" when meets are arranged.
Hoping this experience didn't hinder your nights enjoyment, but it's good I suppose to be able to vent and get it off your chest..... Onwards and upwards |

"I hosted a social and I think 15 single guys got the link for ticket didn't buy one.
On the night 5 no shows and not a word to say why "
And yet you have the delusional loons on here saying that most of the single guys on here are reliable
The majority on here are an absolute disaster. Any event organizer will tell you that. Outside the core group of well known, respectful lads the rest are wasters |

Exactly! Social first, you'll get a better indication. Not a guarantee either but you'll see if they show for a social and then you can pick up on vibes for more... |

Mad how people feel the need to insult others because their opinions and experiences don't match their own.
Single guys, couples and single women will all no show at some stage. Vetting and social will alleviate and tell you the spoofers from the real deal. Can count on one hand how many have no showed with us and that's with a combined 20years swinging. |

I'd say most like the idea and see themselves in their fantasy outperforming everyone, but when it comes to reality it can be rather daunting.
I think in order to avoid disappointment, ideally you should fab vet them (social or played with before) and/or have experience in a similar setting. |

Maybe they are just married and won't be honest about it. Real life then stops them attending. They shouldn't get into the pool if they can't swim though. So many others out there who would love the chance for a doggie paddle. |

Sell yourself ( there’s a thread on that also )
Don’t filter your pictures ( you guessed it there’s also a thread on that )

Varying answers here and all opinions are just that, opinions.
As for the socials. There wouldn’t be enough time to meet everyone, life goes on. We’ve had no shows from men just without the party, or last minute cancellations. The amount of sick family members must be a strain on the health service.
Happy swinging all. |

From personal experience- when we organise large socials, we have 99% attendance from single men.
When we organise small socials (at ladies lunches guys are allowed to join the craic in the evening) - almost zero ever turn up.
When we arrange to meet single guys for a drink - I could count on my fingers how many turned up after I made it very clear that a drink means a drink and its not some code name for a bj in the toilets.
After a really bad (rapey) experience I categorically refuse to promise anyone any kind of sex.
If the vibe is right - we are both open to take things further. Do we need to put that expectation into someone's head? Nope.

You know it can be a daunting experience for single males to show up and perform in front of strangers, of course they will agree to meeting as it sounds great to go ballsdeep in someones wife but when the time comes they might feel different the horn has disappeared anyway people are under no obligation to meet anyone here even if they say they will and not show up, you shouldn't be upset this is no strings move on find someone else |

And that there is part of the problem - the fact that (some) men seem to think they have to "perform".
From what I understand, the OP had a party. Generally a party isn't about performance but about having fun - if that involves play, then still nobody should feel that they need to "perform" like a circus monkey when having sex. |

I never get why lads wouldn't show up meeting couples... Even if you were nervous about the whole situation, worse comes to worse you have a conversation with 2 people for a bit and then head home, no harm done...
I've had it before where I was very nervous before hand and met anyway and ended up having a fantastic night |

I've had some no shows. Very disheartening because I rarely get time to play. Getting ready for a night out then no answer or late msg saying can't make it does put a sour taste in ones mouth.
Admittedly I was a no show myself once. It wasn't so much a no show but I was in company with other friends and was supposed to meet up with a single guy at a certain time that night. I kept changing the time because I was really enjoying myself and was hoping my meet would wait. It got too late and he msgs saying he now can't meet now. I will never do this again thou because I felt awful after it. All that excitement for him only for me to ruin his night by changing the time through the night. He did accept my apologies and understands, although never again will I let anyone down on here. We live and learn from our mistakes. |

That's shit.
It's no wonder that single guy's get/have a bad name.
Can't see how raising the price for here, will help out in the long run.
A meetup seem's to be the only way to really sus a person out, 1 way or the other.
If the host can't do it, maybe other goers can do it for them?
Easier said than done I know.
Hopefully ye all had a great night. It was there loss BIG time.
I though I was going to meetup with a couple. As time past & getting nearer to the finalise meeting time, etc. They stopped messaging me. It wasn't nice at the time. It was they're loss, at the end of the day.
I personally would only say yes to a part, social, event's, if I was 100%sure that I'd be able to attend. That'll be why it'll be at certain times of the year I'll be saying yes to them, along with what day, evening, night it's on aswell.
Ya, a meetup to be verified, is hard enough to get alright. As good as the forum & thread's are, it still takes a person/couple to put the hand out to meetup & verify the other person/couple. In a lot of cases if the person is a single guy.
Not everybody have the confidence or believe in themselves to sell themselves, so to speak. Despite with forum's & threads about it.
If you have that idea in your head, that your going to be balls deep inside someone's wife or a lady at the party, social. That could do your headin as you could be over thinking it. That can go for women thinking about husbands & single guy's aswell, I'm sure. You'd be better to have a mind set of let's see how it goes.
I'm sure the people would rodder you showed up in the first place, even if it just turned out to for a few drinks & a chat.
Hopefully this hasn't put you & other's off inviting or meeting single guy's in the future. |

That's not good at all. I hope you don't judge all the single lads by those few eejits tho OP, because sometimes a cancellation can't be avoided. But, at the very least, they should have the manners to text and apologise.
I've had similar experiences with women where a date has been tentatively arranged, and suddenly their profile disappears or they block me a few days beforehand or on the day. |

No shows happen with everyone, I've been no showed by couples as well as single women before, chatting away on the day up until an hour before the agreed meet up time and radio silence then.
So glad lads just happen to do it more because it's a numbers game 1000 lads for every couples/single woman on here |

Nobody has to perform. It's fine to go to a party and decide you're not in the mood or there is noone there you fancy, and having a chat and a drink and going home. I've been to loads of play events and hosted quite a few and I can count on 1 hand the number of times I've actually had sex. I much prefer more personal meets. |

Ah there you are me aul flower, nobody has to do anything they don't want too however by implication attending a so called swinging event would mean you are down to have sex to put it bluntly or why else would you go? You can socialise in any pub or setting, why go to 1 of these events and not partake, if you did that you wouldn't be invited to the next 1 as you didn't perform as a single male so there is pressure for men to perform that's the point I'm making and for many that pressure is something they don't like hence no shows |

I'm fairly certain that "five horny, experimental women" were expecting the men they invited over to perform. The idea that they weren't is fairly comical tbh.
I certainly don't think the men were invited over to make animal balloons to keep them satisfied.
That doesn't justify them not showing up though. They knew what they were getting themselves into and bottled it. |

I’ve kinda stopped wasting my time with messaging back single males here. I now choose to meet them at socials. Saves me a lot of time filtering out who’s serious about meeting and who’s just here cause they are horned up at that moment

For the record I've never been to a swinging event it's not my style I like 1 on 1 meets or couples even and I've never let anyone down but have been let down myself
Men are expected to be horny all the time and to never refuse sex and when they do say no like not showing up they are branded the worst in the world for it |

"You know it can be a daunting experience for single males to show up and perform in front of strangers, of course they will agree to meeting as it sounds great to go ballsdeep in someones wife but when the time comes they might feel different the horn has disappeared anyway people are under no obligation to meet anyone here even if they say they will and not show up, you shouldn't be upset this is no strings move on find someone else
And that there is part of the problem - the fact that (some) men seem to think they have to "perform".
From what I understand, the OP had a party. Generally a party isn't about performance but about having fun - if that involves play, then still nobody should feel that they need to "perform" like a circus monkey when having sex.
Of course they have to perform.. Do you know what site you're on?
So I arrive at a so called even there are 10 men there and 5 women all 10 of us sit back and say hey I don't feel like sex today I just came here to talk, what kind of reception do you think they would get?
Attitudes like this is one of the reasons why I refuse to attend play parties.
How many men go to them with the "I'm going have sex tonight whatever it takes" attitude...
Missus "
I would hope very few |

Ah there you are me aul flower, nobody has to do anything they don't want too however by implication attending a so called swinging event would mean you are down to have sex to put it bluntly or why else would you go? You can socialise in any pub or setting, why go to 1 of these events and not partake, if you did that you wouldn't be invited to the next 1 as you didn't perform as a single male so there is pressure for men to perform that's the point I'm making and for many that pressure is something they don't like hence no shows " I'm guessing from that reply you have never actually been to any of these events?.
Holy s*** . Thank God most people don't think like you. |

I would argue it's far more likely that all the females warned at all that shallow and probably had the expectation of some fun and flirts and see where it goes. Any opinions on your expectations females? |

But they didn't say no, they just didn't show up. Lying is generally considered a fairly negative trait, so men who lie shouldn't be surprised if they get treated negatively for it. The same goes for women who lie as well. |

I'm a single male now, after 20yrs.
I was also a no-show for my first social!
I did tell the organiser in advance, but having young kids can provide an obstacle to attending if something crops up.
That said, I'm determined to be better organised in future. I'm also generally quiet and shy on first meets, but if I get a nice vibe the ice will break easy.
I guess some people bottle it when it comes to first meets. |

That's understandable.
What would someone have to do (like me) to prove they are single?
Bring divorce papers to a meet?
Seems reasonable. |

Maybe the verifications should be changed to a review sort of system, as it is verifications only show those who have met, chatted on cam etc and are happy with the experience. But if it was setup as a review system it could still show those who have had good experiences but also those with negative experiences, but there are downsides to it, disgruntled people could post negative reviews because they were annoyed by being turned down by someone |

That's simply bad form, but it doesn't surprise me.
Some people are just pricks, not just men either.
Everyone meeting for first time is taking a chance. If they are not into someone, basic manners should prevail. It sets a standard.

If they are not paid-up members, the chances are, that they are not serious.
That goes to anyone regardless of sex, age, location, status or lovely photos in my books. If someone is not willing/able/arsed to fork out a few bob per year, there is a pretty good chance that they will not be able/willing/arsed to turn-up. |

I don't think paying to be a site supporter is a very good indication of someone who will turn up. The best indicator is having previously turned up (in person meet verification)
Also lol @ those men have never been to play parties trying to manspalin how men should perform at play parties. |

Remember RB's screw analogy?
There might as well be none if the hundreds aren't what the person is looking for |

"What’s happened this site?
Is the site just full of a lot of fantasist's? should it be made to be a paid site, at a higher rate than what it currently is?
We’d a party last night and we were speaking to three single fellas about our party. One had the decency to message two days before but the other two were no shows. If they’d have grown the balls to be there they’d have been met with five very horny, experimental funny girls.
We really don’t get it. Should we only have parties with people we’ve met to make sure they’re actually what and who they say they are?
Would love to name and shame them but for some reason won’t.

Agree with others on this thread, it's not a behaviour that's exclusive just to men. But I know a few men who enjoy the group meet scene and they'd always expect a social or at least a solo meet first before anything group was confirmed. But ultimately the site has lots of fantasists, timewasters, penpal enthusiasts and it's difficult trying to navigate them all and avoid. We all get stung the odd time.
But it definitely sounds like their loss! |

No shows are never great As a single guy I’ve met some exceptional women and couples . Maybe I’ve been lucky . Manners cost nothing .letting people down at the last min is disrespectful especially when they have planned parties or socials . |

I don't get any praise for all the great sex some single men have on here so I'm not going the say the one's that dont show are ruining it for me to be honest.
Red flags are exactly that ....if you go ahead with plans after a few have been flown then you should look at what you can do to avoid people that fly them
