Hey all,

Pretty new to the scene here and just booked our first event end of the month. Interested in learning what goes on at one of these nights. It says no playing yet encourages you to dress down. So what can we expect?

Depends what they mean by dress down? Do they mean smart casual?

M&G and socials are exactly what they say. A social night in a pub or hotel with music and possibly food.

Any suggestion of more isn't a normal social.

Best ask the organisers rather than get inaccurate responses here from people who have never been to one or won't be going to this event

It really depends on the event you are going to. Most socials/meet & greets are just like a regular night out. You just know everyone there is on fab and open to discussing play meets. Some events operate a dress down policy if you are comfortable with that.

Prob best looking at the Frankie goes to Hollywood video for “Relax.” Socials are basically a more mental version of that

For a socials, all public etiquette should be followed. Look at it like a night to a normal bar! Except everyone there is on fab and knows about ur kinky side!

It’s a chance to arrange ur own after party but only PG fun will/should be allowed at the venue

Your party organiser will give you more info!

Well I went to my last two and had too much fun, dancing, talking too much rubbish, laughing too much and of course much more dancing.

In all honestly it’s like a good bunch of people having the chat and Craic.

I've seen the odd boobage reveal on the dancefloor (she shall remain anonymous!) or the odd hand on the bum or up a shirt or on the crown jewels area, probably no more than you'd see in a nightclub these days

Lots of shifting n' drifting by married folk as well

But all of the above in a private area, never in a public bar.
