Ya but they have a population of over 60 odd million don’t give up yet we’ve a good young team
Probably not as good or the choice of players that they have but the one thing that the Irish have is the never say die attitude |

This is probably the strongest French squad I’ve seen in my life time
We can try the park the bus thing and hope for the best but I think we are looking at 6 plus
This is the strongest crop to have come out of Claire Fontaine at one time ever in my opinion |

Being an eternal optimist Im hoping that something magical happens over the 90 minutes... France have a poor game,we up our game considerably,ref makes a few dodgy calls that suit us and some of the younger lads with something to prove play out of their skins! The realistic scenario is we'll lose,but hopefully only by 2. Glass is half full here!  |

Look it’s a rebuilding project a young team with a lot to learn in their careers
I’m just hoping they just give a good account of themselves work hard and try if nothing else

3 previous winners in the group , tough group , the games that will decide wether Ireland qualify or not is not the French game but all the others, l don't expect Ireland to beat France but we'll see what happens in the other games. |

I turned on the pre match commentary and managed 10 mins of it found the pundits incredibly annoying and turned it off.. I'll get the highlights later off to a movie instead |

Can't disagree there Joanne Cantwell is painful whether it's gaa or soccer and Ritchie Sadlon is nearly as bad but good performance if we had a good manager we might have won ?? and that Irelands Edge add is on just as iam finishing we have to get Eoin Nulty playing soccer ?? |
