I've been on and off for nearly 10yrs, it's so hard to leave, I've made some wonderful friends, but do get to a point, I'm tired, I need time out?

I'm on off 5 years and my fab journey swinging else as been very quiet, but I've made some great friends, I've gained some confidence. I take breaks when boredom sets in and I've kinda resigned myself to been a social butterfly rather than a swinger.

How did you first decide to join?

Best to hide you're profile, delete the app and take time out and when you're ready to come back your profile will still be there and you won't have to start all over again

I’m much the same Lou, but it’s a long Fab Journey and long journeys need breaks

That could be a break from coming on here, which is difficult, or a break from what you normally do on fab

Take a risk, meet someone new, mix it up a bit and ignite the spark again

"Hit that sweet sweet delete button"

Pause works. Delete works. Unless a new start is needed. Delete is probably the right option when a breath is needed.

I deleted once. It was the right thing at the time. No regrets.

As a relative newbie I think I know how you feel OP.

I for one will miss you on here if you do decide to go.

And I will probably be long gone when you come back. (But I promise I will collect on our rugby result bet....lol).

You have been one of the bright lights on here for me and Fab will be a bit duller while you are away if you do decide to take a break.

Could be but deal with it, get through it with family and friends support. Obviously I have no clue the effect that has on your life as a woman, so speaking from a very uneducated point of view. All I know is hot flushes, mood swings without reason and the eggs switching off, so you can see it's not something I've researched myself.

All I'll say is, prioritise. Whatever makes you feel good, keep doing that. Chuck whatever else you can and don't feel the need to apologise for doing so, if it ends up in a better you.

If Fab is one of those, so be it. Don't think about it and sail away a happier person.

Some time may pass, hormones may change and you might return but it's never an essential part of anyone's life.

You do you and be the best you that you can

Anyone that doesn't support that ain't worth the oxygen we share

Eh, it is all the same ol same ol after a while, regardless of how fresh or mould -breaking some people might consider themselves to be.

If you're not enjoying it take a break, and if you don't miss it, then maybe your time is done. Any real friends will be happy to continue the friendship away from the site

I've been on and off for 6 years. Left the first couple of times because it wasn't for me at all.

Then had a well verified profile but got fed up with it all and didn't log in for a year and when I came back I deleted that profile within a couple of weeks because I wanted a fresh start.

Haven't met anyone new in 3 years but as others have said it depends on why you are here and if you decide to delete your profile you will have to start over if you have a change of heart.

The best option is usually to hide and don't log in for a while and see how you feel then.
