Just wondering are the real single men on fab happy with their lot or do they feel the need to be part of a couple, loved up,have kids maybe or do they see themselves as single forever.

Both at different times if I'm honest. Right now happy to be single and more than happy to meet the right person if it happens along the way.

I don’t know any different as I’ve never been in a relationship. Being single is all I’ve known and become used to it now. There are times when I’m with friends and I’d see them with their partners and think it would be nice to share things with but you get used to eating out, going on holidays and all these things by yourself.

It all depends , being single has its advantages and also has its disadvantages, some married guys or guys in a relationship want to also live the single life and want the best of both worlds..but they should never forget if...IF..a woman wants to get laid she will get laid a lot easier and quicker than a guy..as I said ...It all depends on the situation..

The Road to Nowhere

A friend of mine was a serial monogamist up until about 9 months ago. He has had 4 relationships, all of which were quite long term. He decided last time that he was done for a while and wanted to be single & I have to say, from the outside looking in and based on convos we've had, he's living his best one altogether!

I had been with my ex wife most of my adult life and have had many happy years together and both privileged to be parents to our wonderful kids but we both drifted apart and both want to live separate independent lives and I have to say we both couldn't be more happy and really enjoy being single... so really my answer is, I'm fuckn loving it

I’m very happy being single, able to come & go as I please with not having to answer to anyone. I’m saying that, having company around is nice but at this stage of my life, I don’t know would I want it 24/7….. could a relationship work part time such as weekends, the odd evening?

Yes they can do.

I’m happily single, relationship wise. I do have my two children who stay with me when I’m not working which ultimately means they have a better social life than me but I don’t mind that. Their happiness counts more at the moment with the ages they are at. I don’t mind putting my life on hold until they are older and have flown the nest. I know not all feel the same way

Are you conducting some sort of social experiment?

Just give her a contract to sign before entering into a relationship:

I (insert her name) agree to not contact you for any reason outside of the hours of beginning 7pm on Fridays until Sundays noon and Wednesdays between 6pm until 10pm, to include meeting in person, text via any messaging app and/or social media platform, email, phone, fax, telegram, or message by a third person.

You (insert your name) reserve the right to change these times as you see fit at any given time with 5 minutes notice.

I think she'll get the gist

Relationships aren't everything. They can be great but equally a drag. I've been single for 10 years. Got used to it now as much as at times it would be nice to be in a regular relationship. However not being in a relationship creates opportunities such as this site.

Who before this post said they were not single ? Whats with the "omg kids are a life sentence" shit?

If you've never had kids you're in no position to judge. If you have had kids and you think there are life sentence..... Well that's interesting. If you couldn't get a relationship our kids and this has made you better towards all relationships and all kids, Well that's unfortunate and I'm sorry however you shouldn't take it out On people who may love their relationships and their kids!
