Can we desire too much in life? And can we do too much wrong in the quest of desire?

Yes, if it means you're never satisfied.

Yes, it's not okay to go 'scorched earth' and run rough-shod over others / in life, on a selfish agenda.

Keeping it within the walls of fab there are certainly people who would sell their granny for a shag or who choose to ignore the screaming klaxon that accompanies the Russian semaphore team and their red flags all in the name of getting what they want.

If it walks and talks like a duck and has always done so, it's not going to turn into a swan because of your own blind desire.

I think you have to be true to yourself in what you want. Don't deny yourself or judge yourself on the things that are important to you. At the same time you need to be aware of the needs of others and not just plough on regardless. There is also something to be said for being grateful for what you have, because there are always those worse off. This all sits in a framework of morality and standards we set for ourselves.

Indeed! And those same people will mercilessly flame others because their own desire caused temporary blindness and wilful ignorance

Desire wanting to much ? Why not as long as your desire doesn't hurt people why not.

Great Thread Title

'She's a candle burnin' in my room

Yeah, I'm like the needle

The needle and spoon

Over the counter, with a shotgun

Pretty soon, everybody's got one

I'm in a fever, when I'm beside her...
