somewhere

A tread with 2 names as who the hell knows which way it'll go.

Yesterday Disney plus released

A sort of Homecoming with David Letterman meeting Bono and The Edge

Really enjoyed it watching them and other musicians singing some revamped songs by U2 in a secret gig and pub in town

Dublin looked great

Letterman was very good as were Bono and The Edge

Anyone else watch it yet

Still getting over the shock of the pic on Disney's homepage

Where the Streets Have No Name

Hmmm....

Not sure if it's hype Scotty.

By many objective measures, they are a pretty big deal.

Sure 3 of their tours have made the top 15 highest-grossing concert tours of all time. No other artist appear on the list 3 times. (Rolling Stones are on there twice)

So I suppose a lot of people like to go and see 'em anyway

But I know, I know... They are not for everybody. And I am okay with that.

I'm glad I found what I'm looking for.

I can see both sides of the Bono thing. I don't think anyone can take away from his talent as a songwriter or his willingness to use his celebrity to try to do some good.

Yea, he can appear to be up his own arse in his own little bubble but I don't think there is any person on here who has done more for the world. He is entitled to whatever riches he has because he has earned them and you can't please everybody.

I think the guys heart is in the right place

South Dublin

Simple if you don’t like U2 or Bono , don’t watch it !

Plenty of Garett Brookes material out there lol (before some corrects me , name is spelt wrong deliberately)

I was never a fan of any single band/artist but I get why U2 has a following.

Only partly the music. It's the image and once a following gathers momentum more follow just to be cool with the popular tribe.

It's the old school rocker vibe they had created. Too cool, f the world, anti-establishment.

Ka'ching all the way.

They tagged on the end of the Queen era and BonJovi etc. Big concerts. Rock it out.
