That's the best one by far apart from the original three imo.
Some of the other ones are shockingly bad. Especially The Force Awakens. Awful |

Empire is the best movie of all time. Perfect story. Perfect direction.
Plus some of the dialog is incredible.

4 5 and 6 were of a time and place. A childhood memory. The wonder years to borrow a TV programs title. The rest don't live up to those glory days of sheer awe and joy.
Mando. is good though. Baby Yoda xxx. BTW I have it on good authority that Yoda lives in Galway. |

The original 3 are the best, the others get unfair criticism from a dedicated fanbase. The middle trilogy has the biggest issues but still probably has more heart than the last 3. Although Adam Driver was excellent |

I love Star Wars but sometimes I feel a bit like Alan Partridge with James Bond - stop getting Bond/ SW wrong! The Mandalorian is great as was Rogue One and much of Andor but overall the sequel trilogy was just a bit of a mess and wasted the last hurrahs for the original characters. I know they were a bit hamstrung with Carrie dying in the middle but it was a shame they couldn’t think of anything to do with Han and Luke other than killing them off. And as for TROS: “somehow Palpatine returned.” Eeesh.
Still, here’s hoping that the fact that they haven’t rushed into a new movie means that they’re taking their time so as to get it right. And the next series The Acolyte looks like they’ll finally move away from the same timeframe we’ve mostly seen over the last decade. |

Harrison Ford wanted hand to be killed off as he hated playing him. Mark Hamil didn't like what Disney were doing with Luke, so he was happy for him to be killed off. He was quoted as saying its star wars but not Lucas's star wars. |

The original movie is the only one that I really rate because it has very specific memories for me when it first came out.
I've seen all the other movies and they are forgettable apart from Rogue One which is pretty decent.
The Mandalorian is good but not consistent. Andor was excellent but Boba Fett and Obi Wan were crap and added nothing to the story. |

They weren't under contract to return were they? Seems like cashing a cheque and pandering to the fanbase at the same time tbh |

"Never watched Solo....is it any good
Haven't watched the spin-offs apart from Obi Wan ......are they any good "
I was a bit unimpressed with Solo on first watching but enjoyed it more the second time. Once you get past the fact that nobody can really recreate the charm and charisma of a young Harrison (or Billy Dee) and the slightly by numbers plot, there’s a fair bit to enjoy.
The Mandalorian is very good. Boba Fett was a bit disappointing, Andor was slow to get going but once it did get going, it was great, a more adult take on the SW universe. Rogue One (to which Andor is a prequel) is the best of the films since Disney bought the franchise, IMHO. |
