In my opinion it's all the same now. Most people use a few If not all and you see the same faces.
Other than the obvious dating apps, feeld is really the only thing not mentioned yet that is more like this. |

All pretty much the same now and there are no free mainstream dating sites any more, pof used to be completely free now it subscription for full access, can only message 1 person a day with it now, badoo is no better as is tinder |

As above have said, it's all the same, any of the dating sites have fakes, just like Facebook etc etc
Best advice is attend a few socials and get to know people and work it from there |
