Tourists will no doubt be flocking to Achill and InisMor this year to see the filming locations for Banshees, and the local entrepreneurs and hotel owners will be profiting from this tourist boom, but for me, at least for this summer, Achill and the Aran Islands will not be on my itinerary.

There's the Achill Sound Hotel and then there's another hotel just across the bridge which isn't on the island but very close.
Inis Mór has plenty of bnbs, airbnbs, camping and glamping! |

I’m sure the hoteliers, B and B owners, campsites and other holidaymakers and locals there on Achill and Inismór islands will be devastated! |
