So, it has to be a a scene of a movie, no series allowed.
For example the pub scene in TOMBSTONE when Doc Holiday meets Jonny Ringo would be my number three.

Number three is the ending of the original Planet of the Apes.
Number two is the handgun scene in Quigley Down under.
Number one is the train scene in Spiderman two when the passengers protect his identity. |

Nothing related with the swinger scene although William Wallace is a bull with one wife and after she was killed, his lover, the prince missus, so best film moment at the end of the movie when he shouts 'FREEDOOOOM' before dying. |

“Nothing related with the swinger scene”
That’s not true at all.
Everyone has a different imagination.
The Sharon Stone scene mentioned for example.
That did make me feel certain emotions…

Don Corleones silent scream on the steps outside the opera in Godfather Part III.
"Not quite my tempo" scene in Whiplash
Christopher Waltz's interrogation of the French man who is hiding the Jewish family in Inglorious Bastards
The "freebird" chase scene at the end of the devils rejects. |

Whiplash is full of extremely well acted and tense scenes.
If TV shows are included, the red wedding from GOT is arguably one of the top for me |

Daniel Day Lewis running across the top of the waterfall in last of the mohicans. I still get goosebumps when I hear the music.
The opening scene of Saving Private Ryan, well the whole beach landing really
Andy Dufrain crawling through a river of shit.
And a notable mention to the dance sequence in Napoleon Dynamite |

No 3 the scene in the lighthorsemen where the Australian light horsemen get word to form up and one of the main characters comments is priceless.
No 2 the scene in Zulu Dawn where the officers get the men to sing back.
No 1 is the scene in secondhand lions where one of the main characters beats up the young lads in the store, just to teach them about respect. |

1. The 'Law of the Land' scene in The Field when Bull is in the priests house telling the story of his mother's death when they were saving the hay.
Exceptional from Richard Harris!
2. The Line up scene in Usual Suspects. "Hand me the keys you fucking cocksucker". It wasn't in the script, it was unrehearsed! Very short, but funny. Kevin Pollak, Stephen Baldwin, Benico del Toro, Gabriel Byrne and Kevin Spacey.
3. Pretty much anything from the Young Guns movies (1988/1990)
"You hoo, I'll make you famous"
"Did you know pigs is as smart as dogs? It's true. I knew this guy in El Capitan who taught his pig to bark at strangers."

"I don’t want to give away a major spoiler so I’ll just say the one with your man and the other fella and then the thing happened.
Feck, I actually think I know which one you're talking about "
It was epic |

Raquel Welch's first clip in One Million Years BC, where she is wearing the doe-skin bikini.
The sequence in Wargames, when the computer asks whether the young hacker would like to "play a game".
The scene in Back to the future she the De Lorean first appears ( and many others ).
But the scene in the first Planet of the apes film where the camera is panning over the crown of the statue of liberty is stunning, and immortalised forever. An amazing scene. |

For personal reasons, the barn-raising sequence in Witness with Harrison Ford shows what cooperativeness between humans can achieve something that is missing in our contemporary cruel and selfinterested society |

"Daniel Day Lewis running across the top of the waterfall in last of the mohicans. . ."
Definitely one of my favourite sequences in movies from Magwa leaving the village with the younger Monroe sister until his death is fantastic and not a word of dialogue. |

"The 1959 edition of BenHur has numerous memorable scenes, that are right up there with the best: the chariot race and Stephen Boyd's demise."
Yes , no way animal welfare would allow those stunts today. |
