I noticed on another thread last night that a certain lipstick brand cost €14
Now I haven't a clue how much ladies stuff costs to be honest
What expensive make up item do you buy,how much is it.If its expensive do you justify it in your head or think feck it I'm worth it
Men....do you buy stuff for your beauty regime if you have one
Me ...most expensive thing I buy is aftershave and its around €100 a bottle

Don’t forget that we’re also paying a pink tax. Things like razors marketing at women are more expensive than those marketed at men.
My most expensive is probably my skincare and shampoo but then if you break them down to price per use maybe they’re not. One way or another I’m worth it  |

Im very minimalist with makeup so no big expenses there.
My face cream is £30 a jar so I always buy it as 3 for 2 to get the value there.
I do like to use it on my ass cheeks and other soft parts which is my little extravagance 
They are also worth it |

I've a nice square jawline, it's not always the price of the makeup. Foundation,Contouring, concealers and powder and fixing spray viola.
Cost doesn't come into it, some guys will spend a fortune on fishing tackle, I know quite a few male tackle tart's. Yes tackle tart's their lure or fly boxes are a testament of how they're attracted to glitzy files and lures. They can't help themselves lol
Women use make up to feel good about themselves, it's creativity in itself. Men used war paint back in the day.
As a cross dresser the amount of (STRAIGHT) guy's filling up my inbox and looking for a walk on the wild side is phenomenal. So I suppose I must be doing something right. Im Man enough to wear a dress lol but a lot of these straight guys aren't man enough to show their face 
I've load's of make up and different fake tans...it's fun getting all dolled up. Quick shower it's all gone down the shower drain .
I love contouring, something magic about how you can change your look and dept of cheeks and shape of your face.

I'm blessed by being a natural beauty  - in other words at this stage of my life I fully embrace my wrinkles, saggy bits and the weather tossed hair.
So I'd say my sun cream of ca 30quid is the biggest expense beside the holidays itself, which are probably the best overall beauty treatment anyway.  |

Ah here, I'm nearly afraid to admit it!
Multiple eyeshadow palettes ranging from £25 - £50, same for foundations (I've several different shades & formulations for various occasions, time of the year, etc).
My skincare & tan too.
I've somewhere in the region of 40 lipsticks, several in the £20/25 bracket.
My full haircare regime - shampoo, conditioner, heat protecter, styling cream, texturising spray and finishing oil cost me just over £150 but lasts for ages.
But without a shadow of doubt, my nails are my biggest beauty expense. I have them done every 4 weeks. It was £45 a pop but went up to £55 in January. It's worth it to me though because they're my signature "thing", and they bring a little bit of frivolous joy to my life

I cut my own and don't need to colour it as the blonde and red blend out the white nicely, naturally. So zero costs for hair for me Yeooooooo!!!
I also cut for all in the house so the only cost is if the boys want fades from a barber. Haven't mastered a good quality fade yet.

Without sales or offers on, its 15-25% dearer for women. Fairly common knowledge.
In Tesco, where probably cheapest standard. A Mach 3 Turbo with one blade is circa €8. A comparable womans in the Venus range with single blade is €9.75 |

I don't tend to use expensive make up. I like what I use and I know what suits me so I don't see the point in getting more expensive products. I do use some slightly more expensive skin care products but they last a good while so it evens out as not being too bad. |

I prefer the natural look so not a big spender on makeup and toiletries.
Soap, shampoo, deodoran, shaving gel and razor blades which are mad money 
My skincare is quite affordable and I generally only use tinted moisturizer, mascara and eyeliner.
Hairdresser twice a year at €40 or so...
And my eau de toilette is refreshingly affordable considering the outrageous price of these ridiculous brand names . Himself probably spends more there than I do |

All hair and body products are from Mancave and I only get then in bundles when they have flash sales.
Last bundles were large bottles of shampoo, conditioner and 3 different types of shower gel for £45 and I'm only halfway through them so they will last a year.
Haircut every 6-8 weeks which used to be £10 but went up to £13 at Christmas.
Have a 5 year old bottle of Invinctus that I despise and I refuse to pay silly money for fragrances and have a selection of about 6 dupes from The Essence Vault at £15 a bottle. Have enough to last at least a year. |

I'm very low maintenance moisturiser from Aldi makeup from the pharmacy and dye my own hair. The only thing I splurge on is the lingerie but I wear it all the time so I justify it by cost per wear! |

That's just like any other product or gimmick, if people are stupid enough to pay for it.
I use a safety razor, get a hundred blades for €10!
Some lads want 3 blades and others just want a gimmick to feel good about. "The Super Glide 5000 Turbo Mach G-force 10 blade razor" or some shite like that!
But in comparison, women's products have a pink tax! |

I use Wilkinson Sword Hydro five Razors
An 8 pack of blades is less than 20 euro normally
When they first came out Tesco had a pricing error and were selling them for a Euro
Took everything off the shelves and a refill pack from the stock room out the back ....spent €80 in total saved an absolute fortune |

I have a pair of knee high riding style boots, great with skinnies or a dress. €220 but have worn them religiously for 8 years now. Recently managed to get a new pair for a similar price. I prefer to spend in quality and get the time out of a product. Mind, boots are a nightmare for me with practically nonexistent calves  |

The Lacura SPF30 moisturiser is good.
It's a waste of money to invest in expensive day creams if they don't have SPF30 and I notice a lot of them don't. |

Like you bogm I invest in a good aftershave and I do admit to seeing my barber very regulary. Cant beat a proper beard trim and shape from a good barber.
After that - my boots and jeans ... I will admit to spending €300 on a pair of boots and as I live in jeans - no bother paying well for a nice pair of jeans that fit right |

Not necessarily true.
I enjoy makeup and the artistry of it...always have. Especially eye makeup. I enjoy the ability to create different looks, and not necessarily ones I would choose to wear out of a night out. It's purely about creativity.
Like almost everything you can purchase, some things are worth the expense, some aren't. On the flip side, there are some great bargains to be had whilst others are a total waste of money. When it comes to eyeshadows, I want three qualities first and foremost - colour pay-off, blendabilty, and durability. It's my experience that all three are most commonly found in the mid - high range priced brands.
I don't mind paying a bit more if I'm getting what I want from a product |

One thing that puts me off all the face things is how they feel. Maybe you get used to it but I never could get past my skin feeling all tight or uncomfortable, like I'd left the house without washing off a facemask.
Then there's forgetting you're all made up and touching or rubbing your eye or mouth and it's all ruined in a heartbeat.
I think it can look fantastic for sure. But I'll never see it on myself to enjoy it so the simple natural looks make me happiest and most comfortable.
(And no I don't mean the ones where you spend an hour applying make up to look like you're not wearing makeup lol)
It's school formal season here so there's all manner of lashes and such being cast about the house. I'll have to have a play for the giggle. |

I adore anything with a scent.. Nice ones of course... So perfume, candles, body lotion, conditioner etc. I'm happy to spend money on. Definitely upped the ante on skincare since I hit the 40s. But insider knowledge from my BFF (aesthetic prof) has got my skin care without the hefty price tag. |

Dunno bout the gorgeous part but to try look my best I've an Andi's foil shaver for the head replacement blades bout €20/6 months, Aldi moisturizer for the head then, barber €20/month to line up the beard then beard oil & balm to keep that in line get multipacks when on offer does me over a year each time, my scents are from essence vault and ditched the shower gels for some of the handmade soap bodywashes, skin feels so much fresher compared to regular shower gels, plus a bar of soap looking like a pint of Guinness is pretty cool |

I must admit if I was to add up the amount of money my make up has cost me,I'd be shocked.
My sixteen Yr old daughter Has spent 180 euro on a make up by mario eye shadow pallet and foundation didn't tell me the price, done it on her revolut card

For a clean close shave its hard to better the Double Edge razor, the initial outlay may be high for a good razor and shaving brush €100 plus, but blades are good value €20 for 100 and you get 2 shaves per blade.
Are lads that started cutting there own hair during Covid still at it now that barber's are open again |

Gillette pro glide razor. Bout €10 a month.
Lidl hair gel.Think it's about €1.20.
Nivea shower and deodorant.
Joop, million, David Beckham, and a few other aftershaves.Also deodorants and shower gels to match where possible.
Smart casual for the office with the occasional suit for meetings and presentations.
Phillips razor for the manscaping.
Best effort always made for meets
