They were meant to start many times but kept falling through. They keep on changing the route too which doesn’t help. It was meant to go through charleville, mallow but now it might be going via michelstown |

Ah geeez .... what fun would there be in going from Cork to Limerick or visa versa if you didn't have places like the Ballybeg bends and Charleville main street to navigate.
A Cork to Limerick motorway via Mitchelstown would add even more traffic to the Dunkettle intermess...I mean interchange.

The problem with building the fabled M20 is there is nowhere to terminate it in Cork... you cannot end a motorway at a set of traffic lights at the commons in.
It would be like the last 15 mins of Blues Brothers... |

" well the adare by pass is to be connected to the new road to foynes because the port is getting redeveloped that's why the railway is being reopened. |

Theres no issue on the Limerick side - the motorway network to terminate the M20 at Patrickswell is already there.
Its the Cork end is the problem
To build the M20 they also need to build an M50 style outer ring around Cork and theres no way Eamon and Co are santioning the budget for that baby |
