Has anyone been to Afterdark in Edinburgh?
We're heading over on the 14th of Feb for a few days and we were thinking of checking it out on the Wednesday night but we've read some mixed reports...
It would be good to hear people's experiences before we make up our mind.

I've been before a few times. The old venue was a bit shabby, but the new place is much better. Crowd by and large is fine. A lot of people post on the Scottish forum to advise they are going on a particular night. Busiest at weekends so could be quiet on a Wednesday. Either way you should go and worst case there is lots of other cool bars in Edinburgh |

we've been a few times now
excellent venue...friendly staff to and all nice n new and super clean.
big social area..bring your own booze...plenty playrooms a cinema and a nice cross to be tied too. we take our own stuff for flogging etc.
its a bit out of town so driving is good but taxi will work.
we drive but there is a night bus close by thatll take you into town.
you'd need to research that as we've never used it. |

Thanks for the replies, we would expect mid week to be quite which in itself may not be a bad thing.
I guess what we would be worried about is that we would be the only couple there with a load of single men, not that the missus would complain but it could lead to a quiet night for me  |

Me and my sexy blonde friend are travelling up from liverpool 14th -17th feb and also wondered if this club was any good or if people could recommend any others.
We will be staying in and air bnb near the castle and happy to host if the clubs arnt great x |

Scotland also has CJs which is a belter n aw
and Dundee Bakuss( spelt right?)
its a gay sauna doing swingers nights sometimes..do your research on the dates for that.
Shoebox is another but no fixed location for that one...keep an eye on Scotland forums for whats on |
