Just an excuse for shops to charge ridiculous amounts of money for flowers/roses that are a quarter of the price the rest of year and that wither away within 2 days. Bad enough there are easter eggs in the shops already |

Yea sure, it's all commercialised and tacky now but the spirit of the day lives. It's about making someone you like feel good, feel wanted and dare I say, less alone.
