Hi guys,
I would like to share here something that made me feel angry, someone contacted me on kik because watched my profile on fabswingers, we started to speak and then ask me for a photo, I sent my photo but no my face, this person tell me please a face photo because my wife need to know if she likes you or not forvan MFM...I told him I dont know nothing about you guys... So he share their profile and basically thats all... So I sent the photo and tell them, what ablut you guys, he told me im at work, later i will send you our photo... I told him please sent me back your photo guys because it isnt fair... Three days later, waiting I contact him... And he just tell me "Sorry lost the full convo history" and "From memory did she not say you weren't her type?"and... They dont sent the photo...
Today I learnt If you wanna see my face... Send yoy first... |

While that may seem unfair, no one is ever under any obligation to share face pics if they wish not to, including yourself.
Some might use a face pic as one of the first signs of attraction (we do) - and if they receive one and decide they wouldn't like to proceed, they're under no obligation to send one back, just because they received one.
That's simply one of the risks you take sharing your face online. If you're uncomfortable with it and you think people owe you one first, perhaps just seek out clubs or people who are ok with blind dates (although that will of course limit you).

So you had someone contact you off Kik but not on here first and you didn't think that was a bit strange. Especially as you had to ask for their profile then. 
There is no way I would have shared a face pic like that without having chatted and getting to know them first. It was your decision to share your face pic without knowing really anything about them I don't see why you are angry about that .You made the decision to jump through hoops in the faint hope of a fuck with people you knew nothing about.
People can ask for what they want but it's up to you if you want to share things with them. And you can't really get annoyed when they don't share back.And a lot of time people like that who message randomly have no intention of meeting or sharing face pics back. And may not even have been a couple in the first place. |

Fair point I hadn't looked at his profile. So ye if you have your Kik on your profile this will happen but it is up to you op if you share pics. |

There is a large majority of profiles on Fab which are exactly that - scam artists - looking to scam you for your face and body pics, for cash and d*ugs, to try and bl@ckm@il and e*tort, to wind you up and see how far you'll drive, how gullible you are or just simply for some wank material.
There are plenty of threads on the forum including in the help section to give you an idea of how to differentiate between genuine people and scammers.
I suggest you do a search, read and learn because this was only the first lesson you'll have learned the hard way on Fab.

Welcome OP. Fab is a minefield and you really have to weigh up risk versus reward in your interactions.
As advised earlier check out other forum threads for advice, there's a lot to get used to for newbies.

Op everything after that line is just rubbish.Its fake information and takes from the line about face pictures
Delete it all ......

How do you know that they're sending their real face pic? Loads of fake face pics are sent out by fake profiles. If you want to be really sure, then don't share at all. We don't. |

We have missed out on a few party invites because of it. In one case they had planned to send everyone's face pic to everyone else who was invited, because it wasn't "blind date". Naturally, we said no thanks  |

I never send a face pic on line, prefer to meet for a cuppa first, it's just my thing safety first, I've been refused chat groups because I wouldn't send a live pic .. asked could I send a live body part pic instead .. OP welcome to fab  |
