Hey, Nikki here. I’m playing with the idea of starting to use butt plugs, I’m not into anal but the idea of a plug tweaks am interest in me. So from the ladies please, any advice on type? I’m looking at small stainless steel type with a jewel to start with. Also any advice for using during sex, do they enhance pleasure or is that a personal thing that varies from person to person.

Hiya

Yeah I have a set of the type you describe. Princess plugs I think they call them.

I've never used the smallest but like the middle and the biggest one. Had the middle in during sex recently and it was nice.

Nice to have one in while sucking cock I'd say but haven't tried that yet.

I've read on threads here that the jewelled stainless steel plugs have been lost . Thankfully it hasn't happened to me so I can't attest to the truth of that.

If you're only starting out, the stainless steel ones can feel quite rigid compared to silicone plugs.

Anal is a very personal thing, some love it, some hate it. I find it heightens my orgasm.

Check out an article called "A Beginner's Guide to Butt Plugs and How to Use Them for Anal Play" for a few pointers.

Remember plenty of lube, start small and enjoy. Mrs

It varies I'd say depending on personal comfort.

They are a fun toy to have, it adds a different sensation with the temperature (if it's steel it's cold) and pressure of it, and the visual for your partner

My advice would be do a bit of research, get your lube and get comfy with it before introducing it in the moment. Have fun

My advice is do not get a plug with a round jewel base. It'll just dig into your butt cheeks and irritate you. With the exception of glass, all my plugs have a fairly large T-style base. This makes it much more comfortable to wear (even for longer periods - sleeping overnight etc) but also reduces the chance of accidentally being sucked in which is a terrifying experience.

AliExpres is my favourite supplier for most of my plugs.

Silicone is always best to start off with as _ la carte said metal can be a bit ridged an uncomfortable to start with and always start small and plenty of lube

I started small with rubbery ones and lots of lube. They popped out too easy at times. Still haven’t used biggest one in the set! The metallic one we use now is better for DP fantasy during sex but probably couldn’t have started with it.

Good luck. Great thread.

I wonder did that happen by using the smallest one of the three.

I have no problems with the middle and large one but have never used the smallest. No reason to tbh but I just wonder is that the culprit

My metal jewelled butt plug is my favourite!! I love the feel of the metal and the weight of it! I have glass and silicone as well but the metal is defo my fave, tho it did get lost in me one time, but I was able to get it easy enough, it was a very horny night and lots of playing going on, it just slipped right in, it doesn’t have a very big base, freaked me out a bit but it was grand, hasn’t put me off lol -mrs xx
