I can’t post the whole guide on this thread because it’s seven pages long and has three maps.
When I try to “Reply privately” to your post, or send you a site message, a screen is displayed showing the following:
“Sorry, you can't send private mail to this user
Why? User has blocked everyone of your sex.”
If you unblock male users, I’ll send the guide in two parts, plus the three maps separately. That’s five messages, and the display quality is poor.
If you let me know your email address, I’ll send the guide and maps as four high-quality MS Weird .doc files which are printer-ready. And a video in two parts (not porno), if you like.

“Be respectful at all times”: of course.
“Learn about the culture before you go”: A waste of time. Thailand is on a different planet. It’s culture is far too different, complex and difficult for us to understand. The whole Buddhist / Hindu basis is very alien to people living in Christian-based societies. How much of this county/s culture could you learn in an hour or two?
“They do not accept or tolerate rudeness or poor behaviour.” Their primary reaction is to just walk away, and stay away.

Thailand is a lovely country the people are brilliant great fun but they do have a respect aspect. They have the old way of respect elders etc. Me (missy) am over in Bangkok regularly for work. That town is crazy but extremely safe.
Even if not your cuppa it’s worth visiting certain areas just for the tick off the list you won’t be able to tell men or women apart hehe. Outside of Bangkok is fabulous even inland away from the tourist hotspots along the coast and island - up mountains etc are worth visiting.
But do respect their culture, visit them crazy markets (head to the outskirts of the markets they sell everything and anything).
Hope you have a great trip! |

Thailand is an Amazing country do plenty of research online before you go and plan your trip as best you can, pland tend to change in Thailand so there's an element of take it as it comes and go with the flow. Thai women will love you mostly because your a cash cow but hey they depend on tourists so treat them well and you'll be rewarded. Thai men are friendly enough but avoid any confrontation and avoid eye contact with the men especially.
And above all respect their laws, and do your research on that.
For example it's illegal to stand on money, because your disrespecting the Kings head so stopping a runaway coin that you dropped with your foot could land you in prison.
Don't hire a jet ski because their mostly scams. Don't pee on the street, stay well clear of the buddah shrines they have everywhere they take religion very seriously.
As for the lady bars and that scene in general, it's best to avoid the more expensive bars the girls at the regular bars are much more down to earth and genuine and be generous too.
Be kind and respectful, don't break the law and you'll have an experience of a lifetime.
