Fabbers getting Jealous
Jump to: Newest in thread
So I've been talking to a few people trying to arrange socials & meets & what not.. But am really being put off by a couple of potential meets getting the hump because I met someone else for a coffee before them..
Like, because I am engaged in texts with these people I owe them?
So this started me thinking, there has to be hundreds of stories of Fabbers getting Jealous

Ooooo... A certain young lady who used to be very active on the forum but is long since gone once asked me to meet her. I politely declined as I didn't like her attitude here.
She didn't take it well and proceeded to message quite a few ladies with made up stories about things I had said about them and how obnoxious I was in person.
She hadn't ever met me and we hadn't chatted here at all, apart from me declining her offer.
People are strange.
The most amusing part of it was the ladies who I had been chatting with actually blocking me on her word. |

All sounds very familiar but with a current fabber |

Its quite common for this to happen. In any group or system there is a believed hierarchy. Some people believe to the core that they are at this top of this hierarchy and therefore believe that all attention should be directed at them. This can also be manifested in the person or people seeking the attention by promoting themselves as the alpha both in looks and in personality and when this attention isn't given in the correct or expected manor due to the alpha's hierarchy self believe, it can often lead to conflict. |

Jealousy is rampant on here regardless of what anyone says, ive had women block me because ive been chatting or friends with certain lads, even recently one block me as she's meeting someone ive been friends with for year's even went as far as making him choose between us we're still friends but she blocked me not that I give a fuck she's way to dramatic and attention seeking for my liking... |

wouldn't you like to know |
Sometimes lads don't understand that you don't meet people in order of how long you've been chatting.
There are so many things to consider.
Timing, distance, can/can't accommodate etc....
There has been lads I would have loved to meet for coffee but schedules didn't allow it, and then someone could message me today and happens to be in my area on my day off tomorrow for example.
Relax, if it's meant to happen it will.
I find ghosting much worse... |

If ur on here over a year and this is only happening now you have gotten away lightly .
Unfortunately despite the name of the site there is far more involved on here than swinging
Stay true to urself . Don’t waste time or energy on people that conduct themselves like that . They aren’t ur people .
And most importantly u do what YOU wanna do YOUR under no obligation to anyone on here.
Have a lovely day |

Oh...that's why I am being blocked by some users
It's swingers site, if I can't handle it, I do not take part. Or what?
@OP: If that particular person/people can't handle the very fact, that others are free to meet as they like, who they like and whenever they like. Then, better off without them. |

A friend of mine met girl for coffee she didn't realise we were friends. She kept going on about me how I was to be avoided was such a bitch as I was on Fab swapping sexual favours for jobs around my garden. I couldn't get my head around it at first had no idea who this girl was and why she was saying that. Then I had remembered I had put up a funny comment in the forums months previously about my unkempt bush needing a trim she obviously didn't get the joke. So just to clarify I trim my own bush |

I've had coffee with a few guys who told me that were warned off me by another fabber.
One guy was told that I wasn't his friend and they couldn't be friends if we remained friends.

The carry on here is worse than a school playground at times.
I've had stuff said about me and I just laugh cause god bless anyone that is jealous of my swinging journey, I'm the least swinging swinger on here lol
As for meeting someone for coffee before someone else, now if I had plans made to meet a guy tomorrow and he cancelled tomorrow and than is verified by someone else, yes I'd be annoyed as I'd have made plans to take time off etc but if I'm chatting to someone and the time and date hasn't suited to meet up im under no illusion he's not talking to a few others on here.

Not weird at all " that is weird. You’re on a fun site. If u like a person, who they have met in the past should have no bearing on you meeting them. You’re not meeting the person they met. That’s why it’s best not to display veris. |

You have to accept that every fabber is here for different reasons.
There's no onefitsall to it. You can't mock people getting offended if their expectations don't match yours. Be better at talking things out and don't assume.
Established couples get their emotional needs met off fab at home so their meets are physical/superficial and it's perhaps odd to have people getting hurt by their choices or actions.
Singles have different needs and expectations of what is kind or fair or expected.
And even within single or couple there are varied needs to meet so communication is the only way to make sure a prospective fab meet has all parties on the same page |

I wouldn’t be talking to a person about another person who I’m potentially going to meet. If I’m talking to that said person and we’re getting on well, I’ll meet them. I don’t need to ask somebody else what they’re like. |

Yes there is a log of jealousy on here. Unfortunately it's a lot of background drama and lies a lot of time. There are people on here who revel in the drama and love to run with the hares and hunt with the hounds as well.
They tell one person one story then go to the very people they are bitching about and say something else pointing the vindictiveness they have shown to the other person. It's all smoke and mirrors and woe betide you if you dare actually pull them about the continuous drama and accusations.
It usually starts because they think someone is popular and might take attention away from them or if they they met someone or flirted with someone they like or met. Then they claws and daggers really come out.
It's why when I see veris from certain women I'll avoid any contact with the guy cos it just ain't worth the hassle. |

It's a very real and all too common occurrence on here.
I'm well aware of someone I met who was extremely jealous and made everything I did on here about her and would say how my actions were designed to hurt her. We had a coffee and that was the extent of our relationship.
As a result she has spent the last few years muckspreading but happily every now and again it comes back to bite her in the arse as others can see how flaky she is.She goes off in a huff and hides for a while before a miraculous reappearance as a sex kitten again. |

What I find extremely worrying is a young guy like you wouldn't let anyone else know on here if you had an extremely scary or life threatening experience with a member, you'd just ignore thay would you...as you wouldn't talk about anyone? Obviously not always the case but I often wonder when I see people mention trusted friends on here what their reaction would be if they were aware that one of those special advisors was telling them what others were saying about them on one hand while sharing their facepic and full name with other fabbers on the other hand? |

"There's no need to put friends in quotation marks id have no hesitation in saying, I’d say it’s rife the amount of women talk about men behind their backs on here.
Really who don't think men talk about women , what world do you live in, and yes I have friends on here that I consider friends outside of here. If thats not your thing thats OK but imagine adults that like sex can be friends lolid say with confidence there is far more women who talk with women on here about men rather then visa versa, men regularly conversing with other men about women. I can’t for the life of me understand jealousy on here. A site that’s predominately labelled for no strings fun. "
Honestly, we mostly talk about what we had for dinner, the latest antics our children/pets have got up to, where is the best place to buy x, y or z. Men tend only to come up if they are a) absolutely lovely or b) absolute twunts |

"Obviously not always the case but I often wonder when I see people mention trusted friends on here what their reaction would be if they were aware that one of those special advisors was telling them what others were saying about them on one hand while sharing their facepic and full name with other fabbers on the other hand? " i often wondered on here when people say they have “true friends on fab”, are they really out and out true friends?!. Maybe they are.

What I find extremely worrying is a young guy like you wouldn't let anyone else know on here if you had an extremely scary or life threatening experience with a member, you'd just ignore thay would you...as you wouldn't talk about anyone? There's a hell of a difference between gossip and warning for genuine reasons/reporting etc but sure if posting such utter shite suits your agenda of being an absolute shit stirring immature minded fella the crac on that’s completely different. If you met and warned a female about a complete nut job. I’m talking about a woman potentially meeting a man and going along getting other peoples opinions on him before she meets. I’m sure if she has friends on here and she’s chatting to this man, she’ll be told if he’s a nut job. I’m more so talking about the gossiping. What one person could class as ‘avoid’ material , another person wouldn’t but I’d still stand by the claim , I’d say men are discussed in huge majority by women on here.
I did say "where safety is a concern". I couldn’t picture a man been a complete nut job with a woman and then him staying on the site. Does that actually happen?"
Yep it certainly does |

"Posting these digs at lurkers is not a great look.
Nasty begets nasty.
Next thread it'll be sunshine & roses no doubt and 'take care of your mental health guys!'
"
What I said on this thread is not a dig at anyone it's my experience of what happens on here just like what was asked by the op. And some of the people involved are far from lurkers as well. And even people who lurk can post,no one can stop anyone from posting as long as it is within the rules. They are adults if they are something to say then just say it rather than the background messaging that goes on.
My life is a lot easier on here since I learned my lesson and learned who to avoid but it was a lesson learned to not trust too easily on here.
And I don't take part in the mental health threads because I actually agree with you some of the hypocrisy on them is laughable at times.

Sure I’m a down to earth lad. What’s stopping a woman on here saying I’m a nut job ,after meeting and telling others and others believing her? That’s just spinning things another way in what could happen. do you always believe what your told or does it depend who said it? |

Like, because I am engaged in texts with these people I owe them?
So this started me thinking, there has to be hundreds of stories of Fabbers getting Jealous
"
Jealousy or rejection has NO place either here or in the real world , if anyone is jealous or can't handle rejection then they have absolutely no part in my life simply because l don't want their drama , no body should take the fun out of anything for anybody. |

How is it jealously ? I struggle to see it. Seems they had the hump because you were getting all their attention and they knew your attention was going in several directions. Some people require exclusivity until the meet and that doesn’t equal jealously. |

Have a lovely day "
Yup... something like that .. everyone here is here to enjoy themselves and NOTHING should change that BUT unfortunately it does , some people have to block simply because that other person is making things so difficult for them here . |

If a person requires exclusivity and the other person doesn't, well then that should be the end of things , both parties are looking in different directions, no one here has the right to tell others what to do here or in the real world. |

This is a part folk often miss. There's an etiquette here as much as anywhere. If you've plans made and are still very publicly flirting, fishing for & lining up the next guy or girl and slotting bodies in and out like a human roladex, that's insulting. |

Theres no reason geting worked up over peaple with shallow egos who see you meeting someone elses as a rejection of them, its quite a childish action really from them. Just focus on haveing a good time yourself, and the meets you want, always remember you are beholden to none and owe nothing to anyone |

The childish action is creating a thread on a forum to either garner support for how they feel or try humiliate the other party’s involved.

Still not what would win me over.
I chat to lots. I flirt with lots.
Flirting with intent is different.
I ALWAYS always tell a guy what I am open to asap. If it's just chat for now and see how things go, just chat because no chemistry, or hot chatting to make plans....
Everything is up front and no cross-over. If I make plans it's one at a time and it will take time.
But that's me.

There's casual in so far as frequency etc and then there's straight up using people. One has few feelings the other has none.
I can't speak for others but I personally get no pleasure from being seen as an interchangeable hole to be used and discarded for the next in line.
And I'd not ever want a guy to have that experience with me in return so I'd not use anyone like a human dildo. No. |

Best of intentions won't stop feelings developing. Even if they've had casual with others, it's no guarantee of future relationships.
Keeping the chat open and knowing when to exit it is the key I think |

Yes your right about the safety concerns regarding for women, but if a guy has a concern about another guy and actually contacts a lady or ladies regarding what that guy is saying about them, it can be construed as the opposite!!!

"
I’ve never understood the mentality- the single ladies on here should be supporting each other and having each others back, it’s not like there’s a shortage of men or anything like that… quote the opposite. From my own recent experience the worst names I’ve been called out of what I can only assume is jealously and insecurity were by another female) Shitty egotistical behaviour |

People need get fab it’s a fuck and chuck situation on here some are lucky enough to find someone dedicate to them and start a relationship maybe explore things together I’m a lucky one in a relationship with a fabber but I fucked and chucked, sometimes fucked fucked fucked and then chucked them but some disgusting messages I seen from girls never met me lads I met showed me was unreal… fab is not the place for jealousy. Me and other half often talk about our fab meets as single profiles and both bumped into some at socials etc… leave the jealous fuckers in the kids playground with the swings and roundabouts and leave the drama for soaps xxx |

"This must be a female problem.... Albeit a problem " id say it is a female orientated problem in general. If I was chatting to a female on here (in NSF capacity) that’s what the sites about, it’s none of my business who else she’s speaking to or if she’s arranging meets with others also. The idea of these sites is the casual aspect. No need for seriousness at all

Fab is a total school playground...
People LOVE drama
I just love sitting back and watching people catch themselves out in their own lies..
Never judge a book by it's cover find out for yourself!

The best way to do things is form your own opinions and viewpoints! Reading the stories on this tread makes me giggle. We were all taught at a young age about Chinese whispers the object of that teaching didn’t resonate with a lot. Fact not everyone will get along that is human nature. BUT we’re all adults on this not school children in playgrounds mature enough to know how to think for ourselves!
To get back to OPs original question in relation to meeting people before others. This is your journey sometimes it’s easy due to location etc to meet some people before others. If people are getting the hump as you couldn’t meet them as soon as fingers were clicked it says more about them. We all have lives away from the world of swinging.
Another point a lot have not mentioned is the mental health aspect. If people are spending significant amount of time online this impacts their personality etc…. They may have been on for too long and are in need of some downtime. This impacts how others perceive them or how they react to minor situations.

I agree up to a point about the Chinese whispers as I've been told tales about people I know which are completely untrue and tales about people I know nothing about that are so outrageous and far-fetched that only the very gullible would believe them.
I also agree about mental health playing a part but very often people use that as a shield which allows them to do and say whatever they want in the hope that people will excuse it due to their mental health issues.
It works both ways.
Like so many things on fab there is a section of the community that preach but rarely practice. |

I have encountered jealousy between couples ,who maybe shouldn't be on fabswingers. Who are using fabswingers and a swinging lifestyle to cure their relationship problems I have seen women suddenly get shocked to see their man so relaxed having sex with a guy and guys getting upset that their woman is enjoying a other man .
It's awful when it happens and can leave the other as a near referee

"Sometimes lads don't understand that you don't meet people in order of how long you've been chatting.
I find ghosting much worse..."

What's insulting to anyone ? ..is simply a person texting their next meet while still in the company of their current meet ., That is a total insult to the person they're with, people have ..and do ..that,..a person might handle rejection, hell they might even put up with people being jealous but action like that is insulting , it's just like they treat the person like a piece of meat, both men & women have done it, sad but that's the way some treat others . |

I know a female ,in a couple ( weren't married or attached ) , who thought her man wasn't giving her enough attention in the meet with another woman and it ended up ..let's say not the way it was intended too. |

I've said it before on here that this profile is the result of two fab besties on similar journeys who also happen to fancy the fuck out of each other.
That friendship was forged and cemented by the determination of another prim and proper lady that we had no right to be friends and deliberately went out of her way to drive a wedge between us with her lies and scheming.
I could say it's sad that a grown woman needs that level of validation so badly that she obsesses over what others are doing but from reading this thread and other related ones it's pretty obvious that we aren't the only ones to witness the crazy on here.
