Mad dreams lately and usually remember them very vividly

All sorts of weird things going on in them .....not sexual usually unless it's after I've been away overnight

Do you remember your dreams

A lot of the time I’ll remember aspects of the dreams but maybe not details. I had the flu over Christmas and I was having very lucid fevered dreams

I tend to have more vivid dreams when going through tougher times in life - I would certainly remember them, or snippets.

I've actually often found them helpful, looking into them, analysing them...

I also have mad dreams. I don't always remember them in detail - maybe once a week - but remember fragments of them all almost always.

A common recurring one of the past month/6 weeks is trying to kiss someone who doesn't want to kiss me back. Apparently it's meant to signify unresolved conflict with that person or that the current status of your relationship with them needs repaired but it's the most random people!

I've had the weird and the wonderful - last week I even had THE most incredible sleep orgasm.

Most of the dreams are good ones and rarely nightmares thankfully, and they're more frequent if I've been taking codeine for my gammy knees...codeine dreams are awesomely insane!

I often really random mad ones, went through a period of dreaming if my teeth falling out, or crumbling when I'd try to speak.

Used to get night terrors too, often would wake at night and feel like I was been pinned to the bed and couldn't scream.

I've said for years that I don't dream at all but it's possible that I just don't remember them.

Very very rarely, although I did have a horrible one the other night, you know the kind where it's a relief to wake up ..

So a sleep orgasm was mentioned above ...dont know if its the same for a woman but if I have a wet dream its incredibly messy and I have to clean me and the bed when I wake up ....nothing worse that trying to sleep on a wet patch thats created by yourself

Oh god those paniccy ones are the worst

I dream a lot and like to remember them, even the scary uncomfortable ones. Sometimes they are mixed-up gibberish from the day, sorting out dreams I call them.

Other times they are deep symbolic stuff, it's worth noting any repeated symbolism as it's likely your subconscious at work processing.

Tooth pain, Tooth loss etc could be a sign of change or transition.

I dream quite a bit especially when stressed. From the ones I remember they are usually weird as hell or bordering on nightmares. The last while I've had a lot of strange and odd horrible dreams and I would love to not have any for a while and get a good night's sleep for once. I never sleep well if I remember my dreams especially the weirder ones.

Mrs could write a short story on her dreams, storyline, details the whole lot.

I know I have dreams, I'll wake up knowing I had a load of mad dreams, but I wont remember anything!

I'll have to second this, a few months ago I had COVID and was having lucid dreams, and stopped shortly after COVID.

South Side.

I keep a dream diary beside the bed.I write them down and It helps to remember them later. Sometimes, with a nightmare, i force myself to wake up, to escape the nightmare, but it can take a few minutes of walking around the house to realise im no longer in the dream.

If I fall asleep on my left side, I'll have nightmares. If on my right side, then they are okay but I rarely remember them unless I'm woken up unexpectedly.

Everyone does dream every night, but if you remember your dreams this is an indicator that you may not be sleeping very well.

Good sleep is key to good physical and mental health and poor sleep over many years is detrimental.

To get better much sleep, amongst many other things you should not have heavy meal, coffee or alcohol within a couple of hours of bedtime.

Sleeping tablets do not lead to better sleep, although they will make you go to sleep.

Serious sleep problems do merit a visit to a sleep practitioner and possibly some time in a sleep clinic, wired to an EEG, an electroencephalogram, that produces a graph for analysis by a professional

The urban myth about hard cheese causing you to remember your dreams is a myth; all foods cause this problem.

Your "verboseness" is instantly recognisable.

And is definitely more than enough

Yeah I dream a lot and can usually remember them every other night.

Used to have reoccurring ones too but not so often now.

But yeah can still remember the one from last night as it was an anxiety one about not being able to find the location for an apt today..... All good fun
