"So going to a new therapist, current therapist I leave on my hipster briefs but I would prefer to be fully naked. Should I ask or just strip off. Not a sleazy place btw."
No, it would not be professional or comfortable for the therapist having to work on a naked man. |

I have a friend who provides various alternative therapies including massage.
She had a call a few months ago from a new client to book an appointment and he asked if he could be naked.
She said no but he continued to text her for the next 3 or 4 hours with numerous excuses about relaxation and why it would be a much better experience. In the end she cancelled his appt and blocked his number. |

I actually had this experience last night, i went to a new place and id not long showered after the gym and was wearing shorts but no boxers.
I explained to her and she just held up a towel and said “however you're comfortable”
There was a towel covering me at all time so nothing inappropriate |

You have your needs and wants where massage is concerned just like every massage therapist has their own boundaries and work ethic too.
Any decent professional massage therapist will be open to discuss these needs, wants and boundaries. As a previous poster mentioned, be prepared to be cancelled if not respectful of boundaries - you're best off trying to find someone who's on the same page as you - receiving a massage in the nude where both of you aren't, will just not be a pleasant experience for either of you!
If they are not comfortable, you may be putting yourself and her/him in an awkward position by "just stripping off" but they may be well used to it either and are quite happy working on a nude body while covering intimate areas (or not, as the case may be).
Personally, I prefer working with less clothes as they do present a hindrance and disrupt flow but I would always allow the client choose...
Alternatively, you could always invest in a thong Mrs |

I let it up to the clients what they are comfortable with.after a while doing this job it doesn't bother me one way or the other.
At the start most let their underwear on but after a few appointments when they are more comfortable with you the go nude covered with a towel. Which is easier in my opinion. |

I visit a massage therapist on a regular basis. Wore boxers on first visit, during the first massage we spoke about it and she said she didn't mind, she preferred to be that way when she was massaged. Double checked on next visit and am completely naked when she works on me now. Its easier for her when shes working on my lower back, hamstrings etc Its a therapy session, nonsexual and we're both comfortable with the situation. |
