The person I am on fab most definitely has changed since I joined. I can unashamedly say that I was too trusting and open with people, and that on occasions allowed them to make me feel insecure about myself. I now recognise when this is happening here, so when someone tries to take me down a peg or two with a few chosen words about how better they are than me sexually or otherwise I now think that it's they that has the problem with themselves and not with me. I am happy with how I carry myself here, and if people don't like it, then so be it. I now keep people at arms length. If I feel their interest is weaning in me, I just back off completely rather than doubt myself and my thoughts. I'm more aware that fab is on occasion more about men finding the next best thing or trying to get the verification off the more popular ladies and couples to boost their profile, so we all are disposable no matter how much he compliments you . I can only speak of my own perception of fab and don't speak for anyone else.
The person I am outside fab remains unchanged since I joined. It's easier to just be me with no guards up as the people I surround myself with are open, kind, and genuine. I have a sense of security and belonging there that I don't have on Fab . They tell me how it is as there are no ulterior motives as we just like being around each other and they are my real friendships.

We have only met socially on the couple profile due to ongoing health and other personal reasons but hopefully that will change in time.
