Got a set a few years ago free
Total gimmick, to be honest ..funny seeing my mother with them on as she travelled through space while sitting on a chair
Put them in a drawer after abour 2 weeks
Threw them out later
Saw a set by Meta yesterday in currys
Don't undetstand the need for them |

It's a craze amongst the kids.
Pre-teen son had a Playstation VR set, got 2 Christmas's ago. Used a handful of times.
Now all the friends have the Oculus which is what you saw in Curry's and it's on Santa's list.
I was lucky and managed to sell the VR for a good price and can put that towards the Oculus...see how often he plays that   |

There's the issue, the tech from occlus 1 to occlus 2 is insane.
Not something I would use very often but there is a game/thing called wander, it allows you to go into 360 degree street view, it's like the travel cheat code, or go back through the years and see your area in 2010 is weird.
Space pirate is another very basic game and yet its fucking insane.

11yo wants an Oculus from Santa. Was reluctant to pay the prices for a gimmick.
Luckily his cousin got one earlier this year, used it once or twice and as mentioned above it was packed away and not used again. We're going to wrap that for him  . Is that a bit tight of us?? |
