Never heard of the tradition until it was mentioned in another thread recently but then again I don't drink so it wouldn't be something I would be aware of anyway.
I used to manage a company that required me to be in up to 20 different bars a day and around this time of year I would meet the same group of people in 4 or 5 of them throughout the day so that was probably what they were doing.
They only problem was some of the bars were miles apart and not one of them looked as though they were the designated driver so they either had a huge taxi bill or were being idiots. |
