Apologies, we know there was a post previous about this but we can't find the specific one.
So we are looking at cancelling our Sky and getting a firestick but have a few questions if anyone can help?
How does it work? Is it pre-loaded with channels?
Are the Netflix/Disney+ Apps on it?
How reliable is it on broadband?
We presume there is no record facility?
Any advice welcome. |

Good time to get the firsstick with black Friday
You can buy it online & sidelosd apps yourselves, easily found on Google how to do it, or can get a yearly subscription off someone for in or around £50, I've a subscription off a guy in UK for 4 years now n great service just need decent broadband and you will have every channel you can think of including Disney+, all the sports even 3pm kick offs, n sections then filled with movies & series and if what ya want isn't there it can be requested, any questions feel free to pm me but definitely go ahead with it save a fortune & get a lot more |

The fella I got mine off isn’t around anymore, but I got a stick myself and it was 60 a year to have it loaded up. I have everything, so many American channels that sky tv never had as well every ppv sporting thing.
If you type Firestick into Facebook groups you’ll easily find someone who can do it, just take a moment to suss them out |

Firestick is fairly limited regarding channels. Some Apps are pre- programmed, but you can donload whatever you like. There is an App called Downloader.
If you get an IPTV subscription, they will advise on the app to use. Once you pay them, download the app, log in with details from IPTV provider and away ya go!
I've mine from a lad in Scotland £35 a year. Every channel under the sun, all Netflix, Disney, Apple TV,Hull etc. A ton of boxesets and movies too. |

Hi
Iptv is basically an app that's added to a firestick or similar device, even a smart tv might be compatible. I've an nvidia shield. Great job.
U need to buy a subscription and they will give a link to download the app and provide a login. I only subscribe. Most subscription have a movie and series section aswell as live Tv. So most of Netflix and amazon shows are on it.
Disclaimer: no such thing as free sky sports so most iptv are illegal. |

A guy in Northern Ireland was recently prosecuted for providing iptv subscriptions so be careful naming anybody and who you tell,
His punishment was to pay 250stg a month for 5 years, Sky themselves caught this guy and reported him to police, sky are looking for people like this as they are losing revenue, they estimate this guy alone defrauded them of 15k stg and there are many more like him. |

Ya what ever I don’t work for Sky or eir or virgin but there supply is shite sky will reduce your bill and not your channels if you go with anyone else your choice don’t go with sky glass either coz that’s just the same as all the broadband providers they are shite and the ones that are making their way around the country will only give you the same service |

What iptv provider/subs are people using.
Was with one for a month, but the movies were mainly all just the Netflix ones, and the sports was a bit hit and miss.
Was using the iptv smarters app in the firestick |
