You mean out drinking as opposed to anything else?

Hmm went to the local in September , that's my quota filled for 2022

We drink maybe one bottle of wine a month between us at home.

The West

Rarely go out! But we usually go "out out" (to town) when we do!

Mrs would rather go to sleep than our local, hard blame her to be honest!

We enjoy a glass of wine at the weekend!

I don't meet too many people at work so we like to do something every second weekend at least could be drinks could be dinner or could be sex with other people depends on what we feel like .

I prefer to meet friends at their places than in a pub, it is more noisy, less seats and so much more expensive.

I don't drink so the only time I'll go out is for a meal.

I'd normally leave as soon as the meal was finished but stayed for the rugby on Saturday night.

All of which means I don't have a life apparently based on historical comments on similar threads.

Enjoy a busy night out in the town/city as much a few quite ones in the local with 2 or 3 friends but had to stop drinking at home as living on my own. It was happening a little too often for my liking so i drew a line under it. It a couple friends called over i would have a couple at home on that occasion but otherwise pub!!

Those people were most likely projecting an insecurity on you. It wouldn't bother me in the slightest to chat to a non drinker in the pub

Galway/Mayo

Never been a massive drinker.

Sports always took priority and I don't deal with hangovers at all.

But when I let my hair down it's fun.

Not no bit interested in alcohol but wherever there's great music and the place is hopping lm there ..no matter how a person can feel at any time Music is something that never fails to deliver..it's pure magic to me . It was the hardest hit industry during Covid but thankfully it's all systems go..at any time if anyone is feeling like they could or should be better..put on their favourite music and turn it UP !!

I still have 2 bottles of beer left from the two 6 packs I bought last year - one of which I brought to family for New Year's.

I very rarely drink at home.

I was out out once this year where too much alcohol was consumed (with serious regrets given the hangover!), other than that, just a couple of small events, where I'm usually designated driver so no alcohol involved.

I'm just realising that I'm really a hermit but that's probably not a bad thing, less people to disappoint or let down Mrs

Only go out socially maybe once every 2 months and cant handle more than prob 5 pints. Never drink at home unless I have company

Ex wife was a big drinker so happy to be sober most of the time now, especially if there's sex involved.

I’d never drink at home unless I was invited to a party etc. I don’t even drink Xmas day. Don’t ask me why but I find home drinking boring. I’m a single chap so any weekend I’m free I’d be out. I love mingling and socialising. Completely understand people in relationships or married and or kids are in a total different boat. I don’t have to think about anyone else only myself.

Portlaoise

I tend to go out 1 night a week for a few beers with the lads. I eat out 2 or 3 nights as I work odd hours and can't be bothered cooking a dinner. Plenty of places doing good roast dinners that aren't too dear. Never drink at home.

It's one pub pint only, so that I can still drive up my hill. On the very odd occasion a taxi home.

I do enjoy a beer or wine at home.
