Hey all... Just came to my attention recently there was a profile made on the site fab guys using my pics as profile pics. When I found out I posted a status about it "as I'm a straight male" and within an hour the profile disappeared and also a "female" who was good friends of mine here blocked me on both this and another platform we were chatting on. I know names are not permitted but any Dublin witchcraft fans may know who I'm talking about. I'm assuming it was them putting two and two together and just thought I'd warn other users of here to be careful. Sorry for the rant.... OH and before I get the "how do I know messeges about fab guys", I have gay mates. Cheers all |

Unfortunately that's the risk when you have your pictures online. Mine got taken from here and were used on a well known fetish site. What she didn't know was I was on same site so it wasn't long before friends reached out to tell me. I asked her nicely to delete them but she blocked me instead. But she mentioned her Dom on her profile and I reached out to him instead to ask him to tell her to stop taking my photos. He was appalled she was doing this and they ended up breaking up. The kicker was he ended up asking me out for coffee as he loved my photos but that would have been kinda weird! |

oh wow that's something else.... The person in question for me hasn't even met me in person but kept saying we will soon ect. Guess it's the risks you take on here..... Should of guessed by her status's she was like that tho.

Yes I initially thought that but when I asked around he was well known on the scene we had mutual friends. She ended up deleting her profile over it. I hope she learnt a lesson about borrowing pictures. |

I can only hope the same, as I said in the post I won't confirm it was her but all the signs are there and just hope others don't fall into that trap. It's a sad world when folk get their kicks from ruining this site for others |

I've no idea if my pics have ever been used on other sites but they have been borrowed and used in here on 3 separate occasions that I know of.
One was a well known forum user and one claimed to be a guard. This was confirmed by another fabber who said she knew him and that he was.
All three had also copied and pasted my entire bio as their own and then blocked me so I couldn't see.
I never would have known if people they were messaging hadn't alerted me.
When I mentioned it on here a few thoughts I should be flattered but I thought they were just lazy cunts especially as they hadn't even gone to the effort of taking my name off the pics before sending them.
They got very nasty when others pulled them on it so having my pics associated with pricks like that wasn't flattering. |

it was only brought to my attention recently by a friend of mine.... Apperently the profile was on the site for a good while and as soon as I found out and made it known the person blocked me everywhere. Can't say it doesn't look suspicious. As I said some folk must get a kick from doing stuff like that

Unfortunately it happens. And it's shit and those who do it are just pathetic as far as I'm concerned.
My best friend who has left the site still has pictures used on here by others. One guy in particular uses her pics on his profiles both his single profile and a couple profile he set up after he met her once using her pics to make it look like he was part of a couple. She never gave him permission to use them but he still thought he could.She asked him to remove them and reported him but he's still here still using her pics. He recently put one up again 3 years after he last met her.
There is a woman who uses her pics every so often as well she has even been on page one of hot pics here even though she hadn't been on in over a year at that point.
It's one of the main reasons she left the site. |

Happens all the time unfortunately on both sites!! I found if you start naming and shaming it you that gets in more trouble than the others! Had to delete my last profile a few weeks ago on fabguys because i was banned from posting or replying to messages! |

no I left hints to a person's name whom I'm assuming was responsible for a fake profile using my pics.... If said person was or is innocent all they have to do is contact me and let me know but of course silence speaks volumes |

Had fake profile using my pics and was set it up in our local area so i could see it, so i assume it was someone trying to cause trouble.
Fab admin were very good tbf when i reported it and showed it was my picture from our profile ages before.

People are vindictive - had it in the past myself. It's got to the point where I am selective.
What's even worse is the nice person you meet who is the total A-hole in it all but switches it around to make you it.
I stopped attending events because of an individual who almost ruined me. It's far too small of an arena in ireland |

I was once blocked by a profile who had a bad experiences with a fake profile that was using my pics on another site.
