A wonderful lady.
Her legacy will surely have to be a far better health service in this country.
Minister Stephen Donnelly/ Dept. of Health/ HSE/HSA/HIQA.....make things right for the future in honour of this brave and wonderful woman.
RIP VP.

I don’t want your apologies.
I don’t want your tributes.
I don’t want your aide de camp at my funeral.
I don’t want your broken promises.
I want action.
I want change.
I want accountability.
And I want to see it happen while I am still alive, not after I am dead.
Rest in Power

This sad case epitomises why we have to be deeply sceptical about so-called healthcare experts, especially those who work for profit-oriented firms whose principal objective is to earn a high return for their shareholders! |

"Women have been let down so badly by our Healthcare System over the years "
Not just womens healthcare, but everyone.
The disgraceful behaviour of the state and HSE in this case exposed their attitude, they were more concerned with protecting the organisation from blame than actually helping and caring for the victims. They tried getting Vickey to sign a non disclosure agreement as part of a pre court settlement, because they thought they could cover up the scandal with the rest of the victims of this being left to die quietly.
The state cares nothing about the welfare or lives of ordinary people. These are career politicians that are just serving their own interests and that of their masters in Europe and big business.
There are many more scandals covered up over they years. Who remembers the polio vaccine experiments in childrens homes in Ireland. The treatment of thalidomide victims. The millions pumped into the HSE in the last few years and not 1 extra bed in the health system .
Anyway I will end todays rant. Plenty more to rant about tomorrow. |
