So totally understand fab related but one of the loveliest things that came about because of covid.
You sign up to a care pack for a resident in a nursing home and send them a xmas care pack. An post are on board for free postage up to 1kg.

This is great and also nice to see An Post in on it by waving postage under 1kg.  |

I just checked it not all counties registered yet. Pick your county than add no of residents you want and proceed to " checkout" you than get an email with the details of your resident
Ie. Male, @ nursing home
You than sort the carepack and post , you don't get personal details etc

Check out the site they cater for up the North but postage isn't covered |

That's such a nice thing.
I take my dog into a 2 different care homes once a week and there's so many in there who have no visitors even if they have family. So a xmas package would be so very welcome.
It breaks my heart but they love seeing the dog |

Oh brilliant, delighted to hear this is going ahead again this year! Had the pleasure of doing this last year, great fun trying to select a few bits, and a lovely way to feel good while doing good, too. |
