Not sex related but just a song that brings back an amazing memory or time of your life
Was in buying a coffee today in a petrol station and The Police "wrapped around your finger" was playing
Instantly transported back to 83 when I was camping on my own in Castlegregory Co Kerry for 2 weeks
Best holiday ....best time of my life ...
What song does it for you |

"Coldplay fix you always takes me back to seeing them live."
It takes me back to the end of my marriage where my ex was convinced he was going to "fix" me |

Elton John & Dua lipa”cold heart..
Resonates hard with me, after a separation with kids, especially the part with “I’m not the man they think I am at home”
Even though I done nothing wrong, was just about how my kids might feel about me not being there everyday. Tough feelings!

Men at work - down under.
The summer of 1983, a small local hall on the shores of Lough Allen and a disco organised by the local branch of Macra na Feirme. It was the most mental night's craic I've ever experienced in my life.

"Dennis DeYoung Desert Moon. Played every week on MTUSA in 1984 when I was caring for my ill grandparents and it was on the car radio at 4am when I was driving just after my granny passed away. "
I loved that song |

Cyndi Lauper's Time After Time takes me back to my first proper break up and catches my breath.
Oceanic's Insanity puts me right back on the dance floor of The Coach in the early '90s...the best of times
Snow Patrol's Chasing Cars will always be synonymous with the severe post-natal depression o suffered after my second child and my struggle to feel enough love for him.

I Hear You Knocking......but you can't come in.
Dave Edmunds 1972
Smiley Lewis 1955 original
(Learned bass guitar to that track. Could have been another Adam Clayton but didn't follow my rock star dream.)
The song reminds me a bit of my efforts to get meets on Fab.
And I Still Haven't Found What I'm Lookin For..... apt link to above referenced U2 member I think.

Somewhere in Co. Down |
Stilskin - inside.
Cranberries - zombie.
I think it was around 1994 and they were 2 of songs we always had on when a group of us were spinning around just having the best time, heading to beach parties and going anywhere where there was a band playing we wanted to see.Life seemed so much carefree and easier then and I definitely had a lot more energy than I do now. There was no issue staying up all night and heading to work the next morning back then. |

"Complete Control" by The Clash - saw them at Queen's Uni in November '77 and got totally turned on by New Wave/Punk to the extent of looking after a band and touring with Thin Lizzy, Motorhead, U2, Dexys. It only lasted for a couple of years but it was a great time in my life. |
