Mutiny on the bounty
Jump to: Newest in thread
This is scandalous behaviour. I love bounty bars and I love when there's lots left in the end of the tub. Now if they were to get rid of cream eggs, no problem there or fudge bars or even the old faithful chomp, but not the bounty... for the love of God what has the world come to? |

Bounty confectionery is mostly refined sugar; I prefer to either buy a real coconut, or a bag of dried coconut from the supermarket (home cooking aisle) or a health food store, such as Holland and Barrett. Delicious! |

"I love bounty, you get them in the shops just like that without quality street box around it.
I don't think I'm able to buy the latter, never have. "
I love to gently bite off all the chocolate first before devouring the coconut |

I do such split eating with jaffa cakes but not with a bounty. It's the combo that makes it.
My favourite icecream parlour in Florence had bounty ice cream. Divine and delicious. |

You're going straight to hell
Ditch the caramel Galaxy out of the Celebrations tub any day - but not in the bin! Binning food is most definitely a mortal sin, or so my parents told me |

Couldn't have told you what was in a tub of Celebrations anyway. Used to sell them by the 1000's but haven't had proper chocolate in 10 years so they were really just plastic tubs with stuff in them.
I'd give anything just to be able to eat a Bounty.

"And it's time that Lidl, Aldi, SuperValu, Tesco etc do their own brand version of the Bounty...own brand Snickers, Mars and Twix just don't cut it for choice "
Aldi do a fun size version Romeos. Not quite as good tbh |

I think we need an area set up for mixing your own Celebrations, Heroes, Roses etc around Christmas time - just like in the cinema "
This is a million euro idea, have you thought about taking it on dragons den |

Just goes to show how often I shop in Aldi
The supermarket brand is generally not as good but a hell of a lot more affordable... it'll go on the list |

This but only with the second bar. First one/half in normal bar gets eaten in 3 bites but second one is eating all the chocolate off first and then savouring the sweet coconut deliciousness. Probably better with the red Bounty and really good coffee accompaniment too, just to top off the indulgence |
