It’s a stunning city
You cannot go wrong with the tourist attractions . Schonbrunn/Hofburg palaces and Kunsthistorisches museum are great .
I stayed in flemings hotel wien-city . The shower is in the middle of the room not in a separate bathroom . Might attract exhibitionist types .
Eat lots of sachertorte

My experience is, that any place I've been to is great value for money, nothing in particular and I might be looking for different things from you, so no recommendations 
Just enjoy the city, take the metro to the center - there's stop at St. Stefans dome - and walk your legs off, just hanging around dropping in for coffee here and there...and taste the food in local pubs. Depends how much time you will have, you might pop into some of their museums and galleries, incredible stuff. If you like military history, 'Arsenal' is a must |

Been many times and love the place. Must be one of the safest cities in the world. Try and get to the local markets. The opera House is beautiful there loads of good bars inside the ring, Not too sure on swinging side of it to be honest.Get the train from airport as you will see a lot more and its good value. |
