Rant needed...

Watching the Older women/ Mature woman threads over the a past few days has pissed me right off. Ive bit my tongue hoping they'd pass but no, still the objectification rolls on...

As an 'older woman' of 47 I dont like being talked about as an item on a bucket list, or something to be 'experienced'. and anybody who thinks of treating me like that will be blocked.

BTW I do know some people do this with other groups too and I object to that too. Makes me want to

We're all being objectified here to one extent or another, nobody complains when their pics get fabbed, otlr they get named as hottest, scored out of 10 based on looks or whatever.

I am older than most here (or at least I admit to my real age) if that causes someone to put me in a particular box I couldn't give a flying fuck really, so long as I get what I want from any interaction we may have.

It won't pass because as much as it might wind you and others up there is an audience for it.

Some women encourage it and not just in a milf/cougar way.

I've seen profiles that describe themselves as an experience and invite messages from "horny boys".

I met you on my previous profile and I have to say a few things. You don't look 47. 47 is not old..and you're young at heart. You're a breath of fresh air to spend time with. And anyone that would want to be with you should want to be with for who you are and the vibrancy you bring with you. Not because of your age. I'm 51 and I certainly do not class myself as old either.

On this site isn't almost every one objectified in one way or another tho. Everyone is put on certain categories by others regardless of whether you want to be or not. While yes it can be a bit annoying at times when someone crosses the lines you have set for yourself,

. But it's fab it will happen all you can do learn not to react or get pissed off with it. It's really not worth getting annoyed about,especially when you will never change the mindset others have.

But always make a note on them so you don't forget later on what they have said

I find it all a bit cringey. I’d like to be wanted for me rather than what I represent but it doesn’t offend me really.

I get you OP. Every one of us on here can/will feel the same way at some point or another. Objectified as an item on a list to be ticked and experienced. It is the nature of the beast. I guess we all have to find our own ways of taming the beast. For me, I look for somebody who has caught my eye, I enjoy the company of and am fully comfortable with.

The beast can show its teeth but letting it bite us is another thing altogether.
