I watched it.
I identified with Lucy ... I was that woman 2 years ago giggling nervously & not knowing where to look!
It was interesting what was said to her by a few people - that Irish people may describe themselves as prudish and shy but arent really!

I thought Lucy was wrong for the programme. She was either too prudish or over-acting her shock and she spoke way too much while that "Self-intimacy Coach" was doing her thing, it was annoying. Also that Dominatrix mentioned that kink website which she shouldn't have. If Channel 4 had done it, it would have been a more pleasant watch. |

Lucy acted way too nieve, sure a decent reporter would have done their homework on the subject first. |

I watched it to see if Fab would be mentioned. I thought she was a ridiculous choice of reporter or maybe the wrong subject for her. Embarrassing the way she behaved in Play Blue, swear she never saw a vibrator before ffs. She didnt come across as an unbiased journo doing an undercover expose. Cringing watching her. More of a BDSM expose rather than swinging |

Her faux shock throughout was a bit much and conflicted with, if not subversively undermined, the sexual taboo breaking (sudo) objective of the show.
We’re a long way from being sexual liberation judging by how Lucy felt obliged to react for the audience. |

Will it lead to more recruits to this site???
It did appear to jump from the high street sex shop straight to hardcore BDSM and rubber ‘pup parties’ ; passing over / neglecting to cover any garden variety swinging in the process. |

She's definitely not a reporter, ... she just did what she does, peeped behind the doors.
She didnt come across as open-minded or respectful as I expected, esp with the intimacy coach. That be down to the editing though...

Yea
We thought the same.
Kinda seemed like she was making out peoples lifestyle choices as weird.
We all have our kicks.
Don’t think she was great to be honest.
Someone like Louis Theroux is much better at these sort of programs.
Not judgemental. |

"I like Lucy but I thought she was completely fake and was putting on an act of being shocked. I thought her attitude to the intimacy coach was downright disrespectful tbh."
Yes, absolutely disrespectful and I thought the lady reacted way too kindly to her. Can't believe the Producers thought her behaviour was acceptable to air. Wrong presenter as well as producers, we still have a long way to go as a nation |

I just watched this and Lucy was so bad in this. She is seriously behind the times unless it was all an act but how could she be that prudish. I'd say her sex life is very adventurous, not. The guy in play blue shop didn't know what to make of her. Definitely the wrong presenter for the show and she is very annoying. |

I don’t watch too much tv , I generally find Irish television rubbish anyway, once sided agendas !
In saying that based on comments above, having a sexual fetish or being a swinger is taboo here , compared to the Brits attitude towards sex etc.
Ppl in Ireland are forced into dark corners to be who they want to be here imo , or do what they want to do as adults etc , utter bullshit nanny state |

Watched it on the Player... terrible content and Lucy acted childish and prudish. It was based on the Channel 4 "Sex Actually" program which is much less judgemental!

Watched 10 mins of it and couldn't watch her anymore. You'd swear she never had sex in her life. Reminded me of irish attitudes 40 years ago. In many ways we are still a very backward country when it comes to talking about sex and kinks. Awful rubbish. |

I agree her reaction in the sex shop and meeting the different people was disrespectful and prudish however she probably did more good than bad as people are so focused on criticising her and judging her reactions that it normalised everything else included in the documentary. The programme was way more focused on the kink scene than the swinging scene though |

I think actually Lucy and the whole programme could have set back Irelands little step forward into exploring our sexuality. The judgemental attitude fake or not had no place on our screens, such a shame really |
