If a profile catches my eye and interests me ill always message first i don't read or answer many messages anymore,respecting filters obviously does it make it easier for lads if women make the first move on here or do you prefer to put in the effort yourself? |

I'll only message if I have something to build on from a status or their profile. I don't respond to one word texts, etc. so I'd not send them.
If it's a simple phwoar situation I'll fab or wink and see what develops. |

I haven't sent a first message since before lockdown one so every conversation since the beginning of 2020 had been started by others.
I make the effort in the forums and on my profile and if that attracts anyone they always get in touch.

If a profile catches my eye I will mesaage first and see how it goes. My only gripe is I wish guys would have it on their profile if they have a FB and playing solo or not playing at all as I don't keep track of people that much to know.  |

Personally speaking,if I got a first message from a woman I'd probably shit myself !! I've contacted and had great craic with women and a few couples but nearly always sent messages first. A few couples have contacted me and to be honest,it's a lot easier to respond than it is to compose a reasonable first message! So feel free to make the first move  "

I have no issue sending a first message to someone if they catch my eye. The worst that can happen is they delete it unread .
I don't get many messages because I have filters tighter than a ducks ass or at least that's what I tell myself
But it suits me and especially at the moment when I have so much going on outside of fab.
I found though most men do reply when messaged first
though even if we just chat for a couple of messages.

Women/couples messaging first is a huge bonus as it shows they have some idea about what they want and also that they see a profile looks normal. Its a bit of a turn on when a woman makes the first move i must admit :D |

I won’t lie but it’s nice to log in and see that I’ve received a message from a woman I’ve not chatted to before. But guys are held in high standard on fab and I look for the same when I receive a message so rarely if ever respond to one word messages.
That all said I do find confidence an attractive trait so any woman that messages first goes up in my estimation |

Constantly sending the first message can be draining and demotivating so having ladies messaging first helps with the ol’ confidence   |

Yeah I find a majority are too far away from me too. An 1 1/2 hours drive ie Belfast is really my limit. I live in the sticks lol |

It’s definitely nice when a woman messages first makes it a bit easier and shows that there keen to chat which is definitely always nice
I never mind messaging first I just read someone’s profile and see if we have the same interests look at there pictures and then just take it from there |
