Well...this isnt quite going as planned 
I have had 2 "real" responses from this forum post....both couples....both from the London area.....and both have had "reasons" to not meet....
So, here I am, still in a hotel room, on my own...still free, horny and bored...
I wouldnt have minded had we even just done a social or something....
So, anyone else fancy actually meeting ? |

The lack of notice given, should anyone find you attractive, is unhelpful

Love it! ... another hurdle - even from someone who has at the top of their profile that she isnt meeting (though not updated further down....)
I also love how there is no comment to the message I sent you.... other than to tell me off - in public.....
Im fairly sure there will be angles from world+dog about just how badly behaved Im being, and absolutely zero comment about how badly behaved the vast majority of women and couples are toward single guys....
There are topics all over these forums from single guys that get the same, similar treatment - and always some "good samaritan" picking holes in their profiles.... nobodys profile is anywhere near perfect - and there is always going to be someone who moans....

Thanks for the advice in my forum post.
Unfortunately - time, I couldnt do anything about - it was a last minute work trip - and If you notice it was posted on Saturday when I actually got to Belfast.
As for "spunky" - this is in all essence a sex dating site for swingers ... so, I thought, along with the fact I do tend to be a bit of a heavy cummer....and I thought it might be a bit of a giggle...
Yes, I do have a cock pic up ... and that for some reason seems rather contentious on here - for which I dont know why - there are women with their boobs out everywhere....sometimes even just a pic of their nipple...but us guys get seriously faffed with because we have a dick pic on our profiles....you say without "manscaping" - ok - so...but I guess for me its because Im not so skinny and i cant make it a good looking pic...
Theres lots of "advice" out there - sure...but none of it...EVER seems to work....
I once spent an entire weekend writing to couples and women, writing bespoke messages to each and every one.....out of about 150 messages, how many replies did I get............answer........zero.....this included only writing to those who were localish, I was in their age range, and jumped through each and every hoop on their profile.
As a single guy on here - its nuts.....

Yup, it’s nuts, gave up years ago, however when I put loads of effort in I got regular meets, just got tired of compromising so much time to fab when it was so one sided. However that’s the game, if you’re not happy tough s*#t I’m afraid.

I don't wish to be rude, Ohpee, but you did ask for people's thoughts after your initial search for company wasn't successful, for lack of a better word.
It's understandable to be frustrated over profile critique if you feel you didn't ask for it but you did receive, on the whole, sincere advice and potential reasons as to why it may be tricky to sort something late notice; I don't think that merits such derision or even for you to feel defeatist about your experience to date.
Plus, just in general, a reply on the forums isn't a 'green light' to privately message someone; otherwise they'd have done just that!
I do hope you find what you're looking for, Ohpee, and I do think that'll happen if you heed the aforementioned advice archived in the whacky world of the forum! It certainly does help

So, please explain something...
Having a profile here, showing it, (not having hidden it), open to single guys (not having removed single guys from preferences), being in the right age-range, etc...
Whats the difference between someone flaming you in a sarcastic way in a public forum, and you responding privately (so as not to shame them) - as their profile meets the conditions above....
....and saying hello....and being ignored anyway ? |

Regardless of the content or the recipient you aren't allowed to discuss private messages in the forums so don't be surprised if this thread is removed by admin for that reason.
I'm not offering profile advice because it's always better that is a true representation of you rather than other people's words but in regard to writing 150 bespoke messages in a weekend and jumping through everyone's hoops without a reply I think you may have already answered that question.
I don't think I've written 150 messages in 6 years but most people don't expect others to jump through hoops. They want a normal conversation to start with and if every message you sent was all about the recipient and nothing about you, that's probably why they didn't reply. |
