In real life do you swear much....normal everyday conversations ...do you notice if you do and stop if you can
Would it put you off meeting someone if you met for a drink and they were swearing like a trooper
Waits for the I never fucking swear answers |

It kind of depends on the swearing in regards to putting me off someone. It definitely can at times.
And at times a well place "fuck" can enhance a whole sentance.
So it's all about context really.
The amount of swear words I use will vary on company but its something I can cut out instantly after years of working with the public and having to speak proper |

People around me use Fuck and Fucking as a space in a sentence.
I don't swear at work all day (do here others do so and wonder how they get away with it) and try not to when in conversation but when it slips out, I try to correct it or stop and start again with a sorry.
Comedy wise... I do then. |

I'm an angel ...I never swear and butter wouldn't melt
And that's not really true - the swearing bit, that is .
Circumstantial. I have been raised to be polite and respectful. It's when I get to know someone better on a personal basis, my language becomes reflective (to a certain degree)...the more my opposite is comfortable swearing, the more I would be likely to add a little of my own, within reason.
Same with being put off others, some are hilarious, some I can abide, others I find obnoxious. Chemistry, hey |

Fuck yes! We love a good bit of swearing.. we don't really get on with people who frown upon it. To each their own and all that..
A well placed "fuck" or more creative usage like, "shitting hell" or, "goddamn pricky cockwombles" signicantly make a conversation funnier and more approachable for us |

Yes I swear too much. For a lot of us Nordies the word fuck is a bit like punctuation (as opposed to it being a sign that I'm aggressive as I was recently accused of here on the forums).
I swear more behind closed doors and in text than I do in public though because I'm a grown up who knows when it's inappropriate. On those occasions I may or may not be swearing in my head

The only place I've ever heard "shitting hell" used was on Friday night dinner on Channel 4.
I can't say I've ever heard "goddam pricky cockwombles" at any point in my life. |

Expletives, cuss words, can be used effectively in appropriate circumstances; but I think the use of the F-word or the C-word have decreased in the majority of situations, and certainly not at business meetings.
The shock value of the F-word (for effect) in polite, shockable company cannot be overestimated! |

Depends on the company. Try to swear at objects or events rather than people, it's very aggressive as a means of communication.
Apparently it's scientifically proven that a good "fuuuck" considerably eases the pain of a stubbed toe |

Swearing is a part of my vocabulary at this stage but I can turn it off when needed. When I'm cursing I'm at my most relaxed so it's probably related to the company I'm in. I always try not to swear if kids are within earshot though. But my biggest trigger is when I'm driving...holy fuck, there's some amount of dozy wankers on the roads these day's. Obviously I'm not one of them |
