I work a night shift and also suffer from sleep apnea so getting to sleep can be difficult at time but what does help me a lot is guided meditation. You can download an app called Medito and just follow the section on sleep meditation it really helps |

On the medito app.yhere is various types of guided meditation from trying to get back to.sleep.after waking up to calming.worry that's preventing you from.sleeping and it's free |

"There’s a supplement available in Boots or most chemists called Melissa Dreams that helps, has worked for me to get a better sleep "
I've had Melissa dreams myself in the past. I never told her about them though. |

Seriously try yhe medito app for guided sleep meditation. I know people are sceptical about it but if yiu gibe it a chance it really makes a difference |

If you're suffering with sleep apnea, one of those masks should help. I know people who've had terrible sleep and the mask for it has literally changed their life! |

There are lots of things you can do to help with sleep, depending on your lifestyle.
No blue screens at least 2 hours before bedtime. Read a magazine or book instead or listen to a podcast.
Make sure your bedroom is clutter free, electronic devices free and well ventilated. Your bedroom should be your haven for sleeping in (and for sex ) so try to keep it as clear of junk, clutter and paraphernalia.
Ideally a regular bedtime and rising time.
No heavy meals a few hours before bedtime, try not to drink too much late at night either.
Avoid stimulants like coffee and tea - go for herbal teas instead. Lots of offers in supermarkets and health food shops.
Essential oils are great too. If you don't have a diffuser, a couple of drops on a tissue and put it underneath your pillow.
Essential oils like lavender or frankincense (this is the mediation oil, it grounds you).
There are lots of apps for meditation but a simple search on YouTube will also bring up plenty. If you haven't done it before, start with 5 or 10 minutes and stick with it... you might just be pleasantly surprised
Practicing mindfulness is a great tool. Try to leave stress and worry for the daytime, particularly if you have any specific worries - set yourself a "worry time" and stick to it. Look for distractions when you do catch yourself worrying about something outside of the time you've set yourself...

If you're suffering with sleep apnea, one of those masks should help. I know people who've had terrible sleep and the mask for
it has literally changed their life!"
I have one it's called a CPAP machine I took to it straight away ans I absolutely love it. It has reduced the number of apneas I have an hour from 47 to35 |

Hope you find something. I struggled for a few years because of shift work. On days since April 21 and my sleep pattern took a good year to get back to normal. |
