I don't understand why people would ghost other people it's pure narcissistic and bang out of order. Building a connection up with someone-youve met them for a social meet and then booom nothing?! |

Ghosting happens. All part of the nature of the Internet.... Be it someone loses interest or your not their type or in some cases maybe something personal came up. I chalk it down to experience and learning. |

I guess I was just raised differently, I reply to all messages even ones I'm nit interested in and would never ghost anyone, always straight up and say whether I'm interested or not.....old school manners. |

Is it ghosting if ye haven't met in person or....? I don't class it as such when it happens to me
People lose interest/something is said that might give the ick or you/they realise it's not clicking. Am sure that is not exhaustive & many more reasons can be added.

Do you mean they've actually made firm arrangements to meet you, set a time and place, then didn't turn up and cut all contact?
If you just mean the conversation fizzled out then it just fizzled out. It can be difficult to keep multiple conversations on the boil to a level that will please everyone and some will fall by the wayside.

But you've only been messaging a d not met, u would take it with a pinch of salt, was chatting a guy, went to another texting platform because I hadn't replied in a few hours he told me he had list interest deleted and moved on |

Ok my two cents. I think it can come down to what people want on here.
Some people want quick meets. And regardless of how well a conversation is going if it doesn't result in some sort of action they move on. To be fair fab isn't a dating site.
However me personally I prefer that bit of connection. To lust after the person in my sights and let it build. That's just me. But because of this, conversations have gone stale and or people have "ghosted" me also. But just to clarify I'm still here for nsa, bit of fun bit of craic etc.

So I've just spoke to the woman in the pic, she has posted them herself online to various sites and didn't inform me even though I did let he know I would be using those from her. No that it will satisfy any of you but hey, that's the deal now.
Pics are genuine, been posted on site is UK where she lives now. |

I think some lads might forget or not realise that ghosting isn't always intentional by couples or women.. when you have 100+ messages in your inbox, it's impossible to respond or keep up with all of them.
Add to that there are personal commitments everyone has and ghosting just happens naturally - I tend to think of it as more "losing touch" than ghosting. There's no malice or ill intent  |

I try to reply to most messages and sometimes when i do that person maybe online and they reply straight back and out of courtesy or manners il engage in a little conversation which is often mistaken has as some kind of interest on my behalf. The next day I might probably delete the messages and not reply back to which I will recieve a string of messages asking me why I ain't replying or asking what they have done wrong. I've been ghosted more than once here both on this profile and my previous on from years ago. It's the nature of the Internet and no use in crying over it, some would say it's their loss, some will use it for pity views, some will quietly accept it and others won't even mention it. When it comes to chats and more, if it's meant to be the right people will talk to the right people. The fun is in the chase  |
