I've had a few messages from contacts this morning saying WhatsApp is going to start charging £25 per month for their service.

Does anyone know anything about this? I have unlimited texts anyway but WhatsApp is far handier sending pics etc

Yeah a bit of googling and you'll find a few references to similar texts earlier in the year. It is spam.

Check if there is an update, maybe that's what causing the error messages?

No it's a free app, call/text worldwide for free!

I don't use anything else now.

We looked on what's app home page and there was no sign saying we will be charge all we read was the only charge we may occur is data charge that's with your network provider xx

I had mad problems with viber. Just make you keep it updated. It's a great app though and much easier to use then many others
