Two questions
Will this have any effect on our wonderful sex life ?
And has anyone any tip , how long recovery etc ? |

It will effect him as sensitivity changes but having sex again without the foreskin being too tight will be a thing of the past
Its 2 weeks of some manageable pain,some awkward and painful night time erections
Tight jocks instead of boxers is the best tip I could give you for the first week

A few friends have had it done as adults.
Some of have had absolutely no pain at all. I believe coconut oil is amazing for the scarring as you need to keep it lubed up. One ex had it done and didn’t look after it and kept getting dry skin around the head. Yuk
Loose clothing for a few days also.

As mentioned above his sensitivity will change. But unless your sex life involves playing with or fetishes with his foreskin I don't see it affecting the quality of your sex life.
Recovery wise I cant remember how long it took me (it was 10 yrs ago) but it was a lot 'easier' than I was expecting. I'd been advised to have some painkillers available so I got 3 boxes of Nurofen Plus and a couple of boxes of Panadol. I only used a few Panadol and none of the Nurofen Plus.
And for what it's worth: we are still enjoying great sex... |

hi I had this done last year I think it was and if anything the sex has gotten better (for both of us) but from what I’ve seen everyone is affected differently some people lose sensation etc but not in my case |

The involuntary erections were painful but pain management will sort that out.
I had an issue that required another bit of slicing with some internal stitching and for the first week or two the inner stitches were adding to the trouble as they were touching off sensitive areas, thereby firing it up even more.
I then ended up with a permahorn that wouldn't settle, requiring a trip to the gp to see what could be done.
I still feel sorry for her as a result of what happened.  |

Be aware he will be initially very sensitive and get frequent erections , but the glans will keratinise to be like outer skin. To compensate for the loss of sensitivity, use lubricant. He will take longer to ejaculate and will probability modify masturbation. I hope all goes well and ask him to rest at home after the circumcision. |

It’s the avoidance of an erection is gonna be a problem and I believe when you do get erections in the early days they are quite Painful
I will have to send Beth away for a few weeks

I remember praying not to get erection for weeks. Always had sensitivity issues so I cant comment on what it does to sensitivity. Back in the days when I had a sex life it helped out a lot
